Reasonable stay with nice location

We booked this guest house knowing that the place is very close to bungee jumping office and Laxman jhula. Both place r 10 min walking distance from the guest house..
The rooms wer nice and clean with enough space.. the only problem we faced that the geaser in our room was not working and the WiFi was not function.. when we asked abt the WiFi we got denying replys from the staff..
Over all the stay was nice and reasonable.. the main advantage abt this place is it is very close to laxman jhula and market..
The only thing went wrong was abt the hot water and WiFi..

Avoid this Guest House !

I, along with 4 other members of my family stayed here on 1st Oct 2017. We booked two rooms on top floor (2nd floor).
As soon as we entered there was a strong unpleasant smell of moisture that seemed to be contained in the room for over two weeks without the rooms being opened or cleaned or I guess nobody stayed there for long.
The bed was making noise, also as if blanket was not washed in ages with foul smell and dirty bedsheet.
The bathroom/toilet was smelly and not washed properly. There were spider webs and ants in washroom, the tiles were broken.
Water was provided in bottles which seemed 10 years old and had strong pungent smell stating how unhealthy the bottles and water was.
To add to our terror, there were power cuts and there was no proper generator facility. There was an inverter which died within 30 mins and we were left without fan and light in rooms and it was one of those bad nights without sleep and moisture which one can't forget ever.
There is NO parking provided by guest house and I had to park my car long way off.

Best location in Rishikesh!

We had an ac room on the second floor so we could also use the rooftop on the second floor wich gives you a beautiful view over the city and the mountains! The location is perfect, it's really private but when you step out your in the happening right away!

good room

Large clean room on the first floor , sunshine in the morning , best shower in 5 months of travelling around India . . . No room service so morning tea was at the teas stall over the road, many Indian people were in rooms , as well as foriegners , so noisy in the mornings . . .but we were used to that . . .a good value guest house with wi-fi in reception, an auto-rickshaw stand nearby and a cafe doing real Italian coffee just up the road . . .no problems here .

Best Bang for Buck

Great location, excellent service and friendly staff, great rooftop with view of the Mountains and Hanuman Temple. Prices are excellent and rooms more than fine for sleeping in. Between a friend and I, spending five nights, we got much more than the 500 rupee room we payed for as the peace of mind, location and comfortability of the place will have me coming back again, especially as a budget traveller. I recommend.
