1001 nights

It is hard to believe that Jagat Palace is only a good 30 years old. Every detail (antique light switches and furniture, restaurant, fine stone carvings and much more) is right to create the perfect illusion. You really think you're in an earlier century! Even the exclusively vegetarian food is good, even if I am not vegetarian. The rooms have style. The pool is big. Great!

Sigh of relief when we left

It's a beautiful faded old building that must've been magnificent back in the day. Now it's a sad, dark and somewhat tatty place, bordering on being a bit spooky. Staff very good throughout. Food fairly grim. Pool was ok but didn't feel especially clean (the pool towels were very stained, including a clump of human hair on mine) - non resident travellers/backpackers seemed to be using the pool i assume for a fee. As in keeping with Pushkar, no booze to be found and indeed no eggs for breakfast either (totally vegetarian). It was pretty cheap though at £66 for a room.

Luxurious and magical

Magical hotel, luxurious very clean, very welcoming staff, very good cuisine. Ayurvedic massage on site and very nice swimming pool. I highly recommend.

Impressive architecture

Located just outside the city. A very nice hotel complex with beautiful buildings. The rooms large clean and cozy furnishings. The dining room is particularly elegant. The service staff very accommodating and friendly. There is a pool for relaxation but sometimes you have to share it with curious monkeys. A very nice stay.

Friendly staff and a good 1 night stopover

Lovely stay here. Tranquil, staff were absolutely amazing. Stayed for 1 night to break a journey. Pushkar a small town, took 15 mins to the centre. Breakfast was good. Loved our stay here, rooms with palatial look balconies. Just didn't like the bathrooms. Not safe getting in and out of the bath even for a shower.
Would still recommend the property.
