Nice hotel to stay for a quick stay
What surprise me is the food excellent and yummy so whenever you go there next time just order a meal and you will not regret it.

Not so Great place. Not recommended
Two, there were great reviews of beautiful view of Kanchanjunga from the room which were totally misleading. Even owner misguided when we booked room thr him that he would gives us a room with beautiful views of Kanchanjunga but actually there were four other hotels in front of our windows, that too back of those hotels with dirty terraces occupying huge black water tanks and other unwanted scrap materials which totally spoiled our mood.
Even though, room was very spacious with separate sitting arrangement, carpet on entire floor, it was extremely suffocating.
Another mood spoiling factor was, as soon as we entered, there was strong unpleasant smell of Non Veg. We are vegetarian but even Non Veg guest would find it mood spoiler.
There is no open space, no lobby, no reception area except small passage – used as reception adjacent to restaurant.
WiFi service was extremely bad. Speed was very slow and it used to get disconnected too often and would not come back soon.
Geyser’s main control switch was on ground floor controlled by management. We received only one bucket of hot water not sufficient even for one person.
Intercom system is out of order for long time. We were required to go down when we needed anything. Mobile number of one staff member was given but he may not necessarily be present all the time.
Hotel is owned and managed by a couple Taman (if I remember name correctly) and Tashi.
While Tashi is very kind, soft spoken ready to help lady and she did help us, her husband Taman I found moody and inconsistent person. Before booking the room he was extra polite but later when we had to cancel our second day's stay due to health reasons he was curt and disrespectful. It was he who had promised us that he would give us beautiful room with Kanchanjunga view. Of course, Kanchanjunga peak at very far distance can be seen from any room but before that, right in front of your eyes are dirty backs of 4 huge other Hotel Buildings.
For dinner we went to Jain Hotel bang opposite this hotel where they served delicious 3 course Vegetarian Buffet Dinner with Good spread at reasonable price of Rs 370 per person.
Overall it was not at all pleasant stay at Pemaling Residency and I would certainly NOT recommend.
