Tour

Nice room, neat n proper. Specious bathroom. Clean linen. Value of money. Recomded.
But they don't have a restaurant AMD it's situated out side of city otherwise all OK. Friendly staff. Definitely I'll come back.

Terrific hotel and staff

My stay at Amran Hotel was honestly one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had.
Atmosphere:
The overall atmosphere was extremely disappointing. The surroundings felt unclean and poorly maintained. Instead of feeling welcoming or comfortable, the environment felt dull, neglected, and unpleasant. It did not give the impression of a professionally managed hotel.
Rooms:
The rooms were in terrible condition. Cleanliness was clearly not a priority — the space felt untidy and poorly maintained. Basic amenities were either not functioning properly or were below acceptable standards. The room did not feel comfortable or worth the money paid.
Staff:
The staff behavior added to the frustration. There was a lack of professionalism and responsiveness. Requests were either delayed or ignored, and there was no sense of hospitality or concern for guest satisfaction.
Room Service:
Room service was extremely poor. Orders were delayed, and the quality was disappointing. Communication was difficult, and there was no proper follow-up on requests.
Overall, it was a terrible experience staying here. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant stay in Madurai. There are definitely better options available.

Very bad experience

My sister and uncle booked a room at Amaran Hotel through OYO online. Then they went the next day. They said very badly that we did not book a room here and that OYO online has nothing to do with us and chased us away like a dog. The person at the reception was not even respectful and did not know that my uncle is a government official. Only those who lost money will feel hurt. OYO is extorting money online by using the name of the hotel and they did not take any action for it. Despite this, they did not ask for money from them saying that you are responsible. If my sister was thinking of filing a complaint, she could have given it. They have treated the customer badly for cheating money online. They have chased us out without giving us a proper answer. If anyone else was in this situation, there would definitely have been a fight. They are not worried that this hotel's name will be tarnished. So people, do not book online here, if you do that and go to the hotel, they will chase you away without giving you a proper answer. Do not lose your respect by booking here. They will treat you very badly.

Worst and rude behaviour by staff and owner

Very worst hotel only suitable for third rate work..if you reach hotel you can see ….don’t go with your family….not suitable for family .. staffs are with worst behaviour They will collect half money while booking and when we reach there they will say Rooms are full and they will ask if you pay additional amount rooms are available and will offer you other third rate services ..The owner of property is very worst and rude behaviour..

Worst experience for the first time in madurai

To be simple this place is hell. They cheat money. Not so worth it. Don't book through directly. Also its not very near to temples. Doest have proper parking also. Poppys very near to it seems to be better.
