My stay at siddhart hotel Roorke

Room was neat and clean. Theme based restaurants good but there was only single person that was only me i don't know why. i stay here for halfday about the reputation or value of this hotel i cann't say anything because as i entered in hotel at the reception one person was smoking there that was too odd. and at the check out time when i asked for Bill they told me if you need bill you have to pay service tax but at the booking timing i confirm 2-3 time by call please tell me exact cost of room they told me it is 1200 but the check out time they told me you pay more as service tax. For single and business person you can choose but when you are with family and loving one think twice.

No water in entire hotel in the morning hours when every body had to get ready and report IIT Roorkee with their wards

We stayed at the hotel from **24th to 27th July 2025**. We were in town for the admission of my son into **IIT Roorkee**.
The rooms are tiny, and so are the bathrooms. It’s an average hotel but **exorbitantly priced**.
On the 25th, we had to report to IIT at **9:00 AM** for document verification. I was ready and had been waiting for my son since **7:30 AM**, sitting near the reception. Around that time, someone came and complained to the staff that water was not coming in the toilet. I felt sorry for him, as most of the guests were there for **IIT admissions** and could get delayed.
Suddenly, around **8:00 AM**, my son called me and said that water wasn't coming in our room’s toilet either. I got really worried. Just then, my friend — who was also staying there with his son for the same purpose — came running and said there was no water in their toilet too. We started raising the issue with the staff, and finally, water was restored around **8:20 AM**.
How can such a blunder happen in a hotel where the majority of guests are there for IIT admissions? People could have gotten late on such a crucial day due to a lack of basic facilities.
The food was okay. However, getting the bill was a hassle. You have to repeatedly ask the waiter, who then has to go down multiple floors to the reception to get the bill prepared before bringing it to you for payment.
Most of the hotel's business seems to come from guests visiting **IIT Roorkee**.
We were charged **Rs. 8,074** for three nights, whereas their normal tariff is **Rs. 6,133** for the same duration. This is nothing short of **extortion**.

Hotel is on Dehradun highway. Veg compact. Rooms are small without a window. It has party halls and parking spot behind the hotel. Room service is quick. Our few friends stayed there. It has a restaurant too.

Small Budget Property

Normal Rooms, Rock cave theme Restaurant,2 Party halls at ground floor & basement. Basically booked for functions having gathering upto 200 guests. Fair priced, suggested for Budget accomodation & no other reason seems to suggest.Everything Average.
