Good quiet resort with a wee bit challenging approach road

The property is close to the railway station- however you will not be disturbed too much by the station sounds/ station traffic and train sounds. Be aware that the narrow approach road to get the resort could be challenging for cars- you just need to be slow and patient. The resort has put up direction boards on the way and google maps also takes you through the intended route -however you will be passing narrow streets with densely packed houses on either side with domestic animals .
The resort main building is constructed in traditional style and the outdoors are suitable for photo shoots. Easy to entertain kids with the ducks, turkey , fish pond etc .
The resort has ample covered parking space. The rooms are OK size. The AC is effective . The bathrooms are clean and has working fittings. The complimentary breakfast spread is OK and tasty. Balance meals you can order through food delivery apps. The property is not too far from Chidambaram Temple -about 10mnts drive. Altogether a good experience except for the approach road.

terrible room

Bed is so small 2 persons cannot fit in this i had to sleep on the chair full night it may be any time ofroom but atleast 2 persons can sleep comfartable it was not like that and he is telling i have given you correct bed and have send me photo of biger bed

Paradise within city limits

To begin with its what a person can expect .affordable . surrounded by nature .ducks .can spot peacocks @sunrise.5 min from the temple.2min from the railway station .and they do arrange rides to temple up and down.swiggy access. In-room dining home cooked food.they di have a fully equipped common kitchen .can cook under the cloud of nature.friendly staff.good wifi access.over all 10 /10

A nature resort close to Chidambaram railway station

Resort is close to Chidambaram railway station. The approach road is not good. Autos charge 80 rupees but there is no choice. Good for nature lovers. Rooms are clean. They provide breakfast & dinner in the small kitchen they have. A conference hall is under construction. Thillai Nataraja temple is 2 kms & Pichavaram mangrove forest boating is 9 Kms. The resort arranges Auto for temple visit & to Pichavaram as well.

You get what you pay for, won't call this VFM.

Pros: Very close to railway stn and quiet.
Cons: Dust & Cob web everywhere. Restroom in deluxe room was as good as what you get in local lodge. Executive room restroom was better. Water was a bit salty. Path from railway stn is narrow, if you are not comfortable riding your car in reverse for 100m better avoid. No food options nearby. Nearby waterbody is just sewage and it stinks. Deluxe room vibration while train passing by didn't bother me. Pillow provided was questionable, saw hair strands and dust. Kettle provided for making coffee was all covered in dust.
I don't think I'll stay here again. OYO / Vandayar hotel kind of place will be better for temple visit. If you need resort kind of environment better look elsewhere. If you decide to stay call and do offline booking else GST is a addon & executive room is better, avoid deluxe room.
