Span..Cheap option in calicut.

Span hotel is located in calicut near the mm ali road. We can reach this place by auto which is the best mode of travel in this place owingonthe good behaviour they show. The hotel is decent looking, well maintained rooms and bathrooms. I booked non ac room and the check in process was smooth. Complimentary breakfast was not available. Check out policy is usually 24 hours. Staff all are ready to help. Altogether it's a good place to stay for the solo travellers here.

A night stay to forget

Reception area - not good
Common toilet in reception - terrible
Rooms - Old with 2 single beds joined to make double bed, old antique electronics
Bathroom - unclean, the less said the better
Procedures - firstly they had internet issues so they could not check the booking.com mail regarding my stay. i showed them the mail but without checking properly they put me in 3 standard rooms instead of the the 2 deluxe room and 1queen suite which i paid for eventhough i did not specifically select it.
They did call me later after check out and once they checked the mail from booking.com and offered to refund the over charged amount. as requested i gave them my bank account and its been nearly 18 days and no refund yet.
Dont recommend at all.

Budget hotel

This hotel is near the buypass in the jail road in Kozhikode. The non AC room costs about 1000 INR. Deluxe room onwards breakfast is complementary. The restaurant and the breakfast was good. I had the traditional Kerala breakfast called puttu made of rice.

Very bad and pathetic services

Very bad hotel in ma cariour
Very bad services, especially from the front office staff (weare spects) he dont know how to treat a Customer.. And he teach me how to live
Am dont ever book this hotel
And am not reffer this hotel.

Fair..need to improve

The hotel location is very good.we choose the Ac room and it was not up to the mark,the cooling of the AC very pathetic.The hospitality of the hotel need to improve a lot.Maybe lack of professional employees,especially in the reception.
