Douglas’ Home from Home

We have just returned from a fantastic 5 days at Raymonds. Lou and Dan were the most obliging hosts you could ask for. Nothing was too much trouble - breakfast was amazing, the rooms were spotless, the bed was comfortable I could go on and on it was the perfect home from home. We wouldn’t hesitate staying again and hope to return again soon. Thank you for making our week and for the cake! Andrew and Lorraine

What an Absolute Treat

I'm almost afraid to rave about this amazing place in case it gets so popular and we can't come back!
Staying at Raymond's is like visiting a good friend who know exactly how to spoil you rotten - from the moment you arrive you are made to feel completely welcome, from the gorgeous lounge area through to the charming bedrooms the ambience is calm and relaxing which makes you feel immediately at home.
I could go on for hours about the breakfast, plentiful and beautifully cooked along with a glorious selection of extras for those who don't want a full meal. The Manx kippers are a joy!
I have rarely been treated so well in a hotel or B&B, the hosts are head and shoulders above the norm and, when our plans had to change they were more than willing to help with suggestions.
To sum up, if you are visiting the area I cannot recommend Raymond's highly enough. Just as long as there is always room for us to come back!

Awesome

I Stayed with my wife at this place for my mates wedding a couple of weeks ago. Oh my, where do I start?? We had such a warm welcome from Lou the lady who runs it, as if we have known her for years.
Nothing was too much trouble. Lou had a lovely place much better than many places i have stayed at in the past.
She kept giving and went above and beyond. We lived like it was our own place. We were even given a shelf in the fridge to store food and drink.
Being Vegetarians it is not easy to always get people to understand. With Lou didn't need to She cooked us lovely full veg breakfast daily inclu. veg sausages. She used separate utensils which was very thoughtful.
Such a lovely place. Parking always available outside the property. They had Sky TV incl Sports in every room. Would definitely stay again if i visit the island.

Beautiful accommodation and amazing Hosts

If there was more than a 5 Star rating we would give it. My wife stayed here the night before our wedding and we then both stayed the following night. The room and accommodation was amazing especially for my wife to get ready, it was so light and airy and Lou who runs it was so accommodating and helpful. She went above and beyond when my wife needed certain things. The room was so lovely and the decor is amazing. Very quiet location and again amazing hosts. The breakfast was also amazing. A*** for everything. Will definitely stay there again if we want a short break. If you chose to stay here you will not be disappointed. It’s a hidden gem on the Isle of Man. All in all it was above and beyond our expectations.

Fantastic b & b

Lou and Dan (super hosts). welcomed us, guided us and fed us (great full and excellent kipper breakfasts). Lovely clean rooms and facilities.
It felt like we were related to Lou and Dan rather than landlord and guests.
Many thanks to them.
