Excellent location!
The place was small and cosy. It is actually Jake's (the owner) apartment, which he is still living in and has converted into a hostel. His things were all over the living room, the kitchen and the toilets. This was not an issue to me, but something like this is worth mentioning in such a review.
The room I stayed in was generally clean and tidy. It was quiet, as I was the only one staying there, with the exception of an occasional traveller stopping by. The apartment in general was rather old and some of the doors, knobs and hinges were rather fragile. However, the building itself is more than a hundred years old. I suppose that this is a good place to stay if you are just looking for a place to lay your head at night. If you are a young, energetic, sociable, party-going animal, you may wish to look elsewhere.
I got to spend quite a bit of time with Jake, the owner. He was a nice and helpful person and we had some deep and interesting discussions during my stay there. He even brought me to a place near the river where we had cheap Turkish food for dinner. He also treated me to beer after that. He was an honest chap and he mentioned how his hostel was the only one in the world which guaranteed the safety of customers' possessions! I haven't really felt safer in any other hostel, actually.
I would recommend this hostel if you are stopping by Budapest for a very short period of time, or if you just need a place to stay at night.

No recomendarlo para ir con la Familia
Habitaciones cutres con Literas, sin ventanas. Me encontre gente joven de todas partes, que me imagino que conocian el lugar.
Soy Montañero y no muy exigente con las pernoctas en la montaña. Pero cuando toco la civilizacion, me conformo con unos minimos.
