A stylist stay in the heart of Budapest
We stayed in a Junior Suite for our trip to Budapest and overall had a wonderful stay. The hotel is beautifully designed, in an unbeatable location, and the customer service was excellent. There are just a few areas that could be improved to make the experience even better.
Pros
* The hotel's location made getting the 100E Airport Express incredibly convenient and much cheaper than taking a taxi
* We were incredibly grateful to be allowed an early check-in at around 11:30am instead of the standard 2pm. Our flight arrived at 9:30am, so this made a huge difference and allowed us to start enjoying our trip straight away
* They have two Junior Suites and we requested the one with a bath, subject to availability. Thankfully the hotel accommodated this request and the bath was lovely
* The rooms were stunning—modern, minimalist and aesthetically beautiful. The high ceilings, long blackout curtains, stylish décor and even the plant in the room created a luxurious feel
* The Smart TV was perfect and meant we didn't need to use our Amazon Fire Stick. The TV couldn't easily be moved anyway, so having the Smart TV already installed was ideal
* The city views were incredible. Opening the curtains each morning to see Zara directly opposite, with people shopping, dining and enjoying the city, was one of our favourite parts of the stay. At night the lights and atmosphere were amazing. Having moved from a busy city to a much quieter area to live, it was lovely to be back in the middle of the buzz for a few days
* The location couldn't have been better. Everything we wanted was literally on our doorstep, including À La Maison and Blueberry Brunch for breakfast and lunch, BiBo for dinner, Acai Fever for smoothies, convenience stores and plenty of souvenir shops
* Bolt was easy to use and to be picked up and dropped off at hotel
* One unexpected highlight was seeing salsa dancing taking place outside from the rooftop at BiBo. My husband and I ended up joining in! It was such a spontaneous and memorable experience, and it was free every Sunday just around the corner from the hotel
* Customer service between 8am and 8pm was fantastic
* WhatsApp communication was particularly impressive. Messages were read instantly and responses were always quick and helpful
* We asked whether hotel guests received a discount at Damas Restaurant as we wanted dinner and shisha there. Initially we were told unfortunately not, which was disappointing given the restaurant's prices. However, after they spoke with the manager, they kindly offered us 10% off the café and restaurant bill, which was very much appreciated
* Damas Restaurant exceeded our expectations. The food was genuinely 10/10—full of flavour with plenty of choice on the menu. The cocktails were lovely, the restaurant itself was beautifully presented and the service was excellent. Staff regularly checked everything was okay and were very attentive. As someone who loves coriander, I really appreciated being given plenty extra to enjoy with my meal. We had the lentil soup, lamb chops, sea bass, grilled prawns, potatoes and a spicy margarita and old fashion. We wanted to do shisha after our meal but we were way too full
* We requested housekeeping while we went out for lunch, and by the time we returned the room had already been cleaned. It was very efficient and convenient
* The air conditioning worked brilliantly, responding instantly to any temperature changes
* The hairdryer in the bathroom was also very useful
Cons
* We weren't allowed glassware for our room for our own drinks and were only given plastic cups. It would have been nice to have proper glasses
* Although ice was provided in the cafe, ice buckets weren't available, so we had to rely on the fridge to chill our drinks. We normally buy our own drinks while travelling and enjoy having them with ice in the room, so this was very disappointing
* There were a few dusty areas in the room, particularly the window ledge, top corners of the window and ceiling light
* Although Damas Restaurant was excellent, it is very expensive. £37 for lamb chops and £99 for the mixed grill meant we couldn't justify eating there more than once. I think the hotel should automatically advertise a guest discount of around 20–25% as an incentive for guests to dine there more often
* Check-out at 10am felt far too early. We were kindly offered a complimentary extension until 11:30am, but with our flight not until 9:50pm, it still left us with a very long day. Being able to keep the room until at least 1pm would have made a significant difference
* Although the room had a standard door lock and Do Not Disturb sign, anyone with a key card could still enter. Although we did feel safe, an additional internal security latch or swing lock would have made us feel much safer
* The pillows looked lovely but were extremely soft. We both ended up using three pillows each and still found them uncomfortable. Offering a choice of soft, medium and firm pillows would improve sleep quality
* The towels left white fluff on our skin after drying, suggesting they could be replaced with better quality ones
* The shower wasn't particularly enjoyable. The temperature constantly needed adjusting and was either too hot or too cold, while the water pressure felt very harsh rather than relaxing. The shower door also opened outwards, meaning we had to keep moving the floor towel mat every time we got in and out
* There wasn't an iron in the room. I'm not sure whether one can be requested as we didn't ask
* Slippers were provided, but one pair had a visible stain, so we didn't use them
Overall
Despite a few areas that could be improved, we genuinely loved our stay at Damas Suites. The beautiful rooms, outstanding location, excellent customer service and fantastic dining experience made it a memorable trip. With a few small improvements—particularly around guest amenities, room security, pillow options and later check-out—it would easily be one of our favourite city hotels. We would definitely recommend Damas Suites to our friends and family and look forward to returning!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellence in Budapest: Hospitality and Top Cuisine!
Staying at the Damas Hotel was an impeccable experience in every respect.
The structure and the rooms:
New and very central structure.
The rooms are simply fantastic: large, extremely comfortable and equipped with every necessary accessory for total relaxation. Cleanliness is impeccable in every corner. Particular praise for the bathroom, really beautiful aesthetically and very functional, attention to detail.
The Staff: Special thanks go to the owner, Patrick, and all the staff. They proved not only extremely professional, but also of a rare kindness, making us feel welcomed from the first to the last moment. The owner was able to make us feel at home.
The Cuisine: Note of absolute merit for the food. The quality is extraordinarily high, with refined flavors and dishes cooked to perfection. It is difficult to find a hotel that offers such a well-groomed gastronomic offer.
In summary: If you are looking for a place where professionalism meets human warmth and good taste, the Damas Hotel is an excellent choice in Budapest and stands out for authenticity and love for your work. We will definitely be back!

The BEST
This is definitely the BEST accommodation in Budapest. So modern, so clean, so comfortable, really big rooms with massive windows and even the bathroom was really nice and had everything that one needs. It is in the city centre, shops, restaurants and cafeterias are all around you. The staff are really kind, helpful and amazing. We will definitely stay here again when we go back to Budapest. Thank you DAMAS SUITES for making our stay in Budapest so memorable and lovely.

Excellent location, excellent treatment, only it has quite a lot of noise at night.
We've been there for three days. The location is amazing, more central impossible. Fantastic service and luxury suite. But the problem is that it is a 1 floor in a street full of terraces, an HM, a Zara.... It has a horrible noise. Although it is true that they have invested well in isolating the rooms, it is impossible, at night you hear and especially, from 5:00 the trucks arrive... A lot of noise. If you're not very sensitive to noise, it's fantastic, but if it bothers you when you sleep, I don't recommend it.
