Amazing stay, defiantly would reccomend

Perfect place to stay, the owner sat down with us on the first night and gave us a run down of the area and recommendations and gave us a complementary bottle of water. It was past 11pm when we arrived and he was still waiting for us to arrive, very kind and funny gentleman. The room was immaculate, air condition was working perfectly you would forget how hot it was outside (it was 38 degrees most days). Beds were super comfy and big and all cooking utensils were available. Finally, our baloney view was superb. If you are someone that has hired a car this is the perfect place for you as there a big car park under the apartment.
Only downside is that we didn’t stay there for the whole duration of our holiday as we planned to travel around the island and stayed in accommodation that was nowhere near the standard of this one.

A beautiful place on the Vlachatan hillside

The place is beautifully located on top of the Vlachata hillside. Close to restaurants, cafes, supermarkets and bakery’s. It is recommended that you rent a car or a scooter as the hike bake from the ocean is quite tough. Also, the island has so many places to visits that you would want a form of transportation in any case. The owner, Mr. Christos is a friendly soul and a vibrant character. He, welcomed us with drinks, drove us to a great restaurants the first night and help us to find a rental car.
We highly recommend this place.

Fantastic location

Lovely studios, spacious and clean - if a little dated. But made up for by the Fantastic views from the balconies and the communal terrace. The walk down the (very) steep hill to the tavernas and shops is short but seems much, much longer climbing back up after a delicious meal and wine at Spiros Taverna. Christos makes a point of looking after his guests - greeting them with a very welcome drink and information chat. Recommended

Amazing view

We spent a week in kefalonia and our stay in Summer Dream was absolutely relaxing. The view from our private balcony was amazing. The room was clean and the owner was kind and very helpful.
Recommended for couples or friend that are looking for a quiet and a nice, clean place.

Basic but clean

I’ve been to a few Greek Islands and usually feel very comfortable. Unfortunately for this holiday I used Last Minute.com never again - horrendous communication which could have spoilt the holiday.
On arrival was met by Christos, my friend and I subsequently avoided contact as two women we felt a little uncomfortable. All we wanted to do was get into our apartment and have a sleep after an early flight but he wanted us to drink. The shuttle - think that was his clapped out car and was never informed of any other transport. 800 metres to the beach, maybe as the crow flies, its nearer 2.5 km down a quite steep road. Luckily we found the local transport.
Lovely little coffee bar on the top road just after the junction- great Freddo Capucino.
