Quirky place to stay.

We stayed in Captain Suite for a couple of night. Great accommodation. We had a 2 bed room which was quite quirky and a balcony view from the rooms. All clean and very comfy. Only downside was the bathroom had a low bit which you had to remember for o duck to avoid banging your head on! Would definitely stay here again.
The cafe downstairs the Yacht Club run by the owner son is great and well worth visiting as well.

The BEST view and terrace in Symi harbour

Perfect for air conditioned bliss, comfy bed and 180 degree view of Symi harbour from its large terrace. STUNNING. Also one of the apartments with the least steps (check lots of others have hundreds of steps), despite this top floor having a spiral staircase to access it. Kitchen, fridge, bathroom and small shower, but, but, but, the terrace and views are WORTH IT… so happy with this place.

A great night for the Women’s Euros Final!

It’s rare to find somewhere showing women’s football & even rarer on a Greek island as small as Symi!
In spite of this, the owners made sure it was a fun, welcoming atmosphere. The owners kept the drinks flowing, snacks coming, & were even bringing furniture out from the hotel as more and more people arrived. I’ll definitely be back (and not just when England make the next final!)

Symi island short break

Decided on a small break away from our all inclusive in Rhodes as we have been to symi on day trips and wanted to see more. I must say we were not disappointed a very friendly accommodation clean and views were out standing from the family room we were allocated well worth a visit and we will go back.

Moderate Award Pension in the Heart of Symi

- Ideal location in the heart of the port of Symi - impossible to do more central - and therefore one has a view of the entire bay from the windows of the room, one is close to all shops, 10 minutes walk from the landing of the large ferries (beware the catamarans are on the other side!), etc.
- Friendliness of the service, including people responsible for cleaning, and many tips and explanations from the Pension’s property owner captain (who very kindly offers to take you back to the ferry with your luggage).
Excellent quality / Award ratio of room #35: the two windows of the living room / kitchen overlook the port (1 photo attached) while the bedroom and the bathroom which are located on the mezzanine (attention to the head) are really spartan in terms of area and equipment, all a little tired, but at 100 euros at night in high season, with this situation and this view, it is really an excellent economic calculation considering the Award charged elsewhere in Symi.
- Room #37 located on the rooftop terrace is much more expensive at 215 euros, but the service is very superior with in particular a huge L-shaped terrace that allows you to embrace the whole city on the sea and mountain side (2 photos attached). And again, considering the Awards in Symi in high season, it is still relatively reasonable. Access is via a very narrow spiral staircase, but we were brought up to our room while we went swimming.
- NB: the above Awards are excluding breakfast, which we took outside.
– Weakness, the wifi connection is poor or non-existent, but the cellular network works very well in the city, so it is a very relative disadvantage when you have a subscription within the European Union.
