Avoid it for dining and even more!

Since its name change, I wanted to try the restaurant that boasts on social media. In fact, it is really not good. Last night, I ordered a fried fish, a veggie salad, and an aioli. Everything was horrifically salty. The worst part is that I have never eaten such a bad aioli. A piece of fish with coarse salt on top, 4 lukewarm mussels, 1 small carrot, 2 pieces of sweet potato, 1 piece of cauliflower, 1/2 potato, and that's it. No shrimp or any other seafood, and sold for €24. The chef is evidently not from the region and knows nothing about Provençal cuisine. It is a tourist trap that gives a very poor image of our cuisine. The servers are pleasant, but the kitchen takes a long time to produce even though there were barely 15 people on the terrace. The terrace is quite pleasant, but there is no view of the sea. If we forget the owner's son who climbs everywhere (on the high gate, goes through the restaurant window...) and even hits his mother who seems overwhelmed, we quickly forget this place because there are much better options for having a good time.

Disappointing despite a pleasant setting.

We came with friends to have a good evening. The place is quite charming and welcoming, even without being by the sea. We had reserved in advance.
Upon our arrival, the server immediately asks us if we are ready to order. We respond that we would like to take a few minutes to look at the menu. He only returns 20 minutes later to take our orders.
Unfortunately, the experience mirrored the beginning: after ordering, we waited nearly 40 minutes without seeing anything arrive. We even pointed out our wait to ensure that our table had not been forgotten. In the meantime, no carafe of water was brought, and we were still waiting for our appetizers.
The appetizers were finally served at the same time as the main courses, which obviously lost much of its interest. The dishes mostly arrived lukewarm, and for my part, my dish had even been forgotten. I had to wait longer while my friends ate, fortunately with some fries to tide me over.
Overall, the dishes were good, which makes this experience all the more frustrating. However, given the service and the accumulation of issues, we preferred to forgo dessert.
At the time of settling the bill, we expressed our disappointment to the manager. He had, however, observed the room from the top of the stairs without ever intervening to support his young servers. Our comment seemed to evoke neither interest nor reconsideration.
It's a shame, because the potential is there. But given this experience, there are much better places in Hyères.
