Ideal base for Cancale

Small hotel very characteristic, directly on the seafront of Cancale. From the window of the sea view rooms you can admire the continuous play of the tides.
Styled rooms, restaurant with good service and possibility to have breakfast.
Very quiet.
Staff helpful and courteous.

A successful stay and to redo

A day spent in Cancale. We stayed at the hotel restaurant le Querrien. Room facing the sea, comfortable. Cleanliness of the premises. The restaurant's dishes are delicious. And the staff very friendly and professional.

Amazing restaurant

Very nice classy restaurant I really like the style calle of a ship the interior is beautiful, the staff very nice and welcoming the cuisine a delight, the Avocado Meli-Mélo with its pink shrimp and its mayonnaise boiled eggs as good as beautiful to watch the sauerkraut of the fisherman a treat and a very good Norman cut for dessert bathed in a good Calvados even the bread basket was well presented and the price is well worth the quantity and quality Service.

Disappointed

We chose the menu at 32,90 €
Very average!
Starter: meli mishmash avocado shrimp
1 shrimp!!! Ridiculous
Dish: sauerkraut of the fisherman
Fish ok, but sauerkraut bathed in water, without taste, no seasoning
Dessert.: rum baba
In my opinion, industrial baba! Served with a scoop of ice cream and chantilly
In short, very disappointed
The.menu is too expensive compared to the quality of the products served
I put average, because the waitress was very nice otherwise my score would have been lower

Happy with Our Choice

It is very clean and shipshape. There are 15 rooms up above the popular restaurant, a majority with a sea view. Our room was surprisingly spacious and comfortable. A decent shower and a bathroom with better lighting than many hotels at a higher price point. Comfortable bed and quality linens.
Great location, just beyond the heart of the restaurant/shopping district. You need to fend for yourself as to the city's pay parking. Probably not a good idea for us to arrive on a Sunday afternoon as we did. We learned that even when a lot is "complet", folks tend to queue in their cars until a space opens up. Once you find a space, you can get a discount from the city for staying overnight at this hotel.
It was quiet during our stay. Breakfast was fine, if not exceptional.
There are 17 half steps up a spiral staircase to the first floor, and more to the next. Well lit, and with a strong railing, but obviously not for everybody as there is no elevator.
Love the vintage shipping posters in the hallway and the slightly funky lamps in our room. Reasonable price considering the optimal location and the expensive real estate.
