A good place to stay
We arrived in Avignon to find that another family had moved into our apartment. After much discussion with the owner (who was very helpful and greatly assisted us during our stay) we were finally able to move in. The apartment was modern with an outside living area. The queen size bed was comfortable. There was very little space in the bathroom to put toiletries. The kitchenette was well equipped with ample cutlery, crockery, an electric hotplate and jug, a toaster and a medium sized fridge. There was also a small table and two chairs, a dishwasher and a washing machine.
However, there was insufficient space for 4 large suitcases
which were placed outside under cover but susceptible to the
rain. There was also an Evaporative Air Conditioner that kept
the bedroom and to a lesser degree, the kitchen . . .Cool.
It is important to note, that parking was very difficult to find
in Avignon, both inside and outside the walls of the city.
You need to find a car parking space and leave your car
there. You will be told that everywhere is within walking
distance . . . but in our experience that can mean walking up to
30 min. each way. . at our age, this can be tiring. Rating: 8.5/10

Best for Avignon Festival!
We visited Avignon for the first time in July 2022. Interested in the Avignon Festival, we picked My Pad Provence 7, aka the Golden Pad which is the newest among the 8 aparthotels run by the talented fashion-designer-turned-interior-designer.
The Golden Pad is located right at the heart of the Avignon Festival Off—certainly appreciated by visitors who love to experience the Avignon culture. It’s less than 10 minutes away from the Palais des Papes and a further 5-minute walk to the Pont d’Avignon.
Our 48m2 one-bedroom apartment is on the third floor (no elevator) of an old building across the Lapidaire Museum. Extremely well appointed and stylish, it also offers a fully-equipped kitchenette and washing machine/dryer. The living room is spacious, highlighted by a painting of a Vogue cover in a Chanel outfit which shows the owner’s connection with the fashion industry. There are small balconies on the side along Rue de la République, but they are blocked by wooden panels and plants, probably for both privacy and security. Turn 90 degrees on your right, however, there’s a pair of floor-to-ceiling windows and one can enjoy the pleasant views of the museum and the vibrant Rue de la République.
And there’s a four poster bed in the bedroom—truly every girl’s dream! It’s firm and comfortable. The bathroom has a towel warmer and a walk-in shower but no bathtub. Towels are snow white and fluffy.
The apartment is clean and well maintained. There was no housekeeping and, as a Covid measure, guests were expected to take away the trash to the bins at the side street of the museum.
Breakfast was not included but a supermarket is just across the street and one can get everything they need. There are plenty of restaurants in the neighborhood too. The owner Cristel was very responsive and, on our request, recommended a list of good restaurants including Michelin-starred ones. We tried three of them and were not disappointed.
Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at My Pad Provence 7. So much so we shared our experience with some friends even before we returned home. One of them has just booked the White Pad (My Pad Provence 5), and we are sure she would love the total experience as much as we did with the Golden Pad.

Nice stay
My Pad 2
This was a very nice apartment in a great location. It had everything we needed and was beautifully decorated. There was a queen bed in the bedroom and a single plus sofa bed in the living room. The owner was very responsive and helpful. The location is within
walking distance to everything. There is paid parking outside.

Superbly done!
Booked MPP4 for 4 nights and extremely glad we did. The place was finished and fitted out to a very high standard which made our stay very comfortable indeed. The host was excellent and gave us lots of local tips as well as organising a private transfer from the rail station. The apartment has a small outside terrace which is nice to sit out in and is just around the corner from a lovely restaurant (best rhum baba ever).

Our "My pad" was located at 26 Rue du Rempart du Rhone, but the same business I think.
We received a warm, friendly welcome and a bottle of Rose wine from Christel. She explained all the features of the apartment, and left contact details, in case we needed any help. Excellent service.
It was well stocked with Tea, Coffee, Salt etc. in fact most kitchen expendables were provided. A washing machine and dryer even, it was all there. You could move in and stay permanently.
It has a separate kitchen/dining room,a bedroom with good storage, a lounge with two sofas,and a good bathroom/shower.
TV and WiFi internet, a safe, and all electrical appliances all worked well. We visited during a heatwave, but the fans, and shutters kept us comfortable.
The shared front door security is good, and it has stairs and an elevator.
Close to the old town, and all services, supermarket, shops, and roadside parking if you needed it.
We loved this apartment, it was perfect for us, and in a couple of days, it felt like home, we would stay there again.
One very minor thing that I would change, we would prefer a big king sized bed, but we slept well anyway. :--)
