Convenient & Comfortable
Stayed 3 nights with 3 adults and a toddler in a Lakeview Suite. It was well-appointed, comfortable, and roomy. The restroom had 2 entrances, which was nice, as I didn't need to go through the bedroom and disturb others in order to use the facilities (I slept on sleeper sofa). Kitchenette was nice with a large dorm fridge + freezer, sink, and plenty of cabinet space. Our balcony was lovely with a great view. We only wish there was a coffee maker in the room. Being able to walk to two close, private gates at Cedar Point was well worth it. We all would definitely stay at Breakers again!

Beware
BEWARE — PLEASE READ IF YOU’RE STAYING HERE WITH CHILDREN***
I came to this hotel with my 5 year -old son, and it was just the two of us. We returned to the hotel around 10 PM. Around 11 PM, while I was giving my son a bath, someone knocked on our door.
I immediately looked through the peephole and saw a member of housekeeping. I never opened the door or took my eyes off him. He told me, “Someone called from this room asking for towels.” I told him that I had not called and that he must have the wrong room.
I continued watching him through the peephole. He then went across the hall, put the towel down and called the front desk. I heard them give back a room number on the 4th floor? Shortly afterward, I received a call from the front desk. Latoya told me that someone had called from my room requesting towels. I again explained that nobody from my room had made that call, and she agreed that the situation was extremely suspicious.
I called back and asked if they could check their records to determine which room actually placed the call. I was initially told they couldn’t see which room the call came from.I questioned that because this is a hotel and there should be a record of incoming calls.I was then told that a supervisor would call me back.
A supervisor named Cara eventually called and told me there was a call logged at approximately 10:45 PM from a female requesting towels. Again, **nobody from my room made that call..** When I asked for clarification or documentation of the call, I still wasn’t provided with anything that explained how a call could supposedly come from my room when it didn’t.
At that point, I was uncomfortable enough that I packed our belongings and left the hotel.
I’m a 37 year -old woman traveling alone with my 5-year old child. This situation was extremely unusual, the explanations I received were inconsistent, and I did not feel safe staying there after what happened.
I also did not receive a refund because I booked through a third party app, although at that point the refund was the least of my concerns.
**Please trust your instincts, especially when traveling with children. Pay attention to what’s happening around you, don’t open your door to unexpected visitors, and verify anything suspicious directly with the front desk. Or CALL THE POLICE**
I’m sharing my experience so other families can be aware and make their own informed decisions about where they stay.

Worst hotel stay ever!!
Housekeeping sucks and doesn't clean. Beds are horrible and you don't get the room that you book and they won't give you no refund or accommodation for your group.

Nice hotel
Hotel is clean with friendly staff. The location is great for easy access to waterpark or amusement park. Room was comfortable.

Great location, everything else subpar
Location is excellent and it’s obvious people with young kids stay there for convenience. Everything else is meh. Bathroom was old and didn’t look like it had been updated for decades. Bedroom was clean, but also not updated and we looked out onto a parking lot. Everything in our room seemed damp, including our clothes the following morning. Couldn’t adjust the AC to a comfortable temperature, you either froze or roasted. No toilet paper holder, it was just sitting loose on the sink, no toiletries and my husband had to take a cold shower in the morning because there was no hot water. Definitely not worth the nearly $600 for 1 night in a small room with 2 beds. Staff was very nice, especially the young gentleman that checked us in. The whole place has gone downhill since being purchased by Six Flags.
