PARADISE
Paradise site, located in the heart of the natural park, with which the stunning environment.
The best are the hosts Flor and Juan who are watching everything and makes your stay super nice.
The super comfortable room, impeccable cleanliness, change your towels every day. In the bathroom with heating and amenities (bathrobe, slippers, toothbrush... )
It also has a kettle and infusions , with chocolates.
The decoration looks like museum furniture, cups etc.
Beautiful garden.
Breakfast is a delicacy of gods natural orange juice, homemade butter, honey, jams, fresh cake, bread, coffee and sausages delicious.
The location is privileged, because you can do hiking trails like the viewpoint of Cerqueiros 3 km from the viewpoint of Carboeira 9 km.
Then it is close to all the routes of the Fragas del Eume and of course, 30 minutes from the monastery of Caaveiro.
In addition, it is very close to the beach which is 15 minutes away as Magdalena beach or the big beach of Miño.
Near the high estuaries Cedeira, Valdoviño .. and emblematic villages such as Pontedeume and
Betanzos. An hour and a half from the beaches of the cathedrals

Tranquility, nature, affection and love
This was one of the most enjoyable stays on our trip, both Mr and Mrs who run the house are a love, in the room there was bathrobe, towel, gel, shampoo, disposable toothbrush, shower cap, disposable comb and also was decorated with a lot of charm. The house in terms of common areas was beautiful. They were flexible about the check-in time (we arrived quite late). The breakfast was amazing, homemade butter, homemade quequeque, homemade jam, coffee, orange juice, fruit, etc. Finally his son recommended that we do a circular route through there "Senda da Ventureira" and it was wonderful. We sincerely hope that you will continue to do very well, a greeting from the Canaries.

Excellent stay in this beautiful home.
My husband and I only stayed at this house for one night but was not long enough to fully appreciate the whole experience of the peace and quiet around, what a beautiful place to stay.
The hosts were very friendly and accommodating and we were able to use the kitchen facilities to cook our dinner.
The house has every attention to detail around and the bedrooms are amazing.
Would highly recommend this place to stay. It’s very much in the country off the main road, but worth the drive.

Unbeatable experience
Everything has been perfect. The house, located in a beautiful natural environment, has a large garden with different environments. It is taken care of down to the smallest detail, the cleanliness is exquisite, the breakfasts are wonderful and abundant, all natural products: you start with a freshly squeezed orange juice, a fruit salad, a wonderful bread toasted at the moment, cheese, Serrano ham , grated tomato, eggs and bacon, jams, butter and a different homemade cake every day, coffee, yogurts... you won't miss anything.
All this is possible thanks to the good team that Flor, María and Juan make. Attentive to anything you could want and making you feel at home.
María is also an excellent guide, depending on what you want to do, she prepares a detailed route for you each day to walk through the mountains, beach, cultural visits...
In short, you couldn't ask for more.
One more thing, very comfortable mattress and pillow.
All this is possible thanks to the good team that Flor, María and Juan make. Attentive to anything you could want and making you feel at home.
María is also an excellent guide, depending on what you want to do, she prepares a detailed route for you each day to walk through the mountains, beach, cultural visits...
In short, you couldn't ask for more.

Casa Rural in the Wilderness
We stayed at the Casa Pineiro in Monfero for 1-night in early June (€75/night). A true casa rural, its old stone buildings back the road (don't worry about noise, there is almost no traffic) and face down a verdant green slope of fields & trees. The casa's location on the edge of the park is completely rural, with only a few equally old stone buildings anywhere nearby.
Our top floor double comfort room was a bit small (as might be expected in a rural house of this age), but had wonderful period touches such as a stone accent wall and huge, rough-cut ceiling beams supporting the sloping, dark wood roof planks. It was furnished with a queen bed & side tables, small desk & chair, large bench, small wall-mounted TV, and a built-in closet – no safe, mini-refrigerator or coffee maker, though. There was also a tiny attic room up a set of very steep stairs, but the ceiling was so low it was suitable only for a child. The bathroom had a single sink vanity with lots of storage underneath and a nice shower.
The grounds had a grassy area with a horreo & wood-fired barbecue, a couple of covered seating areas (for those rainy Galecian days), a couple of open air seating areas, and plenty of covered parking. There was a large common area on the ground floor with seats, magazines, a fireplace. The area around the casa was completely undeveloped and offered few services; the nearest restaurant we saw was at least a 15 min drive along narrow, steep and twisting roads.
We dined at the hotel, a hearty meal of soup, salad, Spanish tacos, dessert. Breakfast was fairly basic but filling, toast, melon & watermelon, cold cuts & cheeses, cake, coffee & orange juice.
Our hosts were friendly and helpful, despite their limited English & our poor Spanish. Overall, a quiet and peaceful stay in an atmospheric inn at a very reasonable price.
