A little one in Granada.

A gem!
Everything is perfect, from the welcome, to the location, to the house, to the rooms, terrace, pool... in short, kindness and total disconnection.
Long live Casa Bombo!

This place is really about the view to the Alhambra which was superb! The room was big. The bed was “okay”, but the fitted sheet didn’t fit very well and in the middle of the night they kept coming off… we had to get up and try to put them back on. The proprietor gave us very good directions on where to be dropped off by the taxi. It is a walk down stairs so definitely be sure to bring luggage that can be rolled along a rocky/aggregate terrain. The breakfast was “continental” with yogurt, toast, cheese and ham. I was able to order a cappuccino each morning as well.

Wonderful Family Stay!

We stayed in the Family room at Casa Bombo for 3 nights and had a wonderful experience! It was an amazing experience and gorgeous atmosphere. The walk up is not for those who are not active and the family room is not large but the terrace, view, seating area for breakfast and small pool made up for the small sleeping space. The staff was lovely and helpful. The breakfast traditional. Our only feedback was I would have liked a nespresso machine to make my own coffee. Poor Rocio sometimes had multiple coffees to make for guests and we could have easily made a nespresso.

A gem in the heart of Albayzín

This boutique hotel is incredible. Very well located in Albayzín, the views on the Alhambra are breathtaking. From the terrace, the fortress and the palaces look so close and the scenery is stunning at any hour of the day or of the night.
The hotel is cosy, you feel at home and the decoration is warm and simple. The breakfast is a small buffet, with several options, and the coffee is great. A special mention for the staff, they all are so kind, helpful, efficient, natural and smiling. The parking lot is a stone’s throw from the hotel but try to travel light, Albayzín’s can be steep and narrow.

Friendly service but otherwise this guesthouse is phoning it in

The staff were helpful and friendly, which was the nicest thing about this guest house. Unfortunately for the price, the experience was lacking.
The most glaring issue with this accommodation was the thinness of the walls. All sounds can be heard from inside and outside the bedrooms. As a result, depending on the other guests staying there, the experience can be quite unenjoyable (we were woken up by four drunken Belgians at 4 AM).
We stayed in a twin room with a separate bathroom down the hall. Unfortunately the set up was quite inconvenient and if given a choice we would not book this configuration again.
We stayed in the winter, and they do not leave the heat on at night! It seems to be on a timer so past a certain hour, it can get quite chilly.
The breakfast was MINIMAL. Yogurt, muesli, dried fruit, two types of bread and some preserves/crushed tomato. That’s all.
Overall for the price this accommodation was not worth it. The 3 stars are mostly for the good service and the interesting location in the Albaicin.
