Excellent apartment, excellent location, non-existent staff (lousy)

The excellent apartment, superb location, gives you the possibility to reserve parking the very friendly parking workers, I also chose with breakfast breakfast the breakfast is in the restaurant La Solana, magnificent service, I recommend it, the only catch is the apartment staff is practically null and uninformed, lacks the essential knowledge to attend you, giving the feeling that they are not from the Palmas de Gran Canaria who have no idea about anything concerning the apartment or its environment, otherwise it is apartment I recommend it very good

Excellent if looking to stay close to Las Canteras

This is our ninth or tenth time on the island. We try to come every year for a few days around February or March, either before or after the Carnival season. We’ve always stayed in hotels and this was our first at Chez Abel. I read so many good reviews that we decided to give it a try. This was one of our best decisions and will probably convert to our recurring spot on the island. If it’s your first time visit to the island and you like the beach it’s best to stay on the southern side of the island. However if you are like us and have already enjoyed all that the south has to offer, Las Palmas is a great place to be and we recommend staying near the Playa de las Canteras a superb long beach. You’ll need to hire a car to move around the island but that’s not a problem. Chez Abel will also reserve a parking space nearby. The room was large with a separate bedroom and is spotless clean. You can cook in the small kitchen or eat breakfast in the restaurant below La Solana (wonderful breakfast by the way and great service). All in all a great experience and we will be back!

Lovely apartment for 2, close to las Canteras beach

Lovely modern one bed apartment. Daily cleaning service ( except Sunday). Well equipped for casual cooking ( microwave, 2xhob lights, dishwasher,fridge freezer, nespresso type coffee machine).
Walk-in shower. TVs with Netflix in lounge and bedroom.
Well-equipped gym in basement. Washing machine available.
Apartments 601,602, 501 and 502 have some sea view but little direct sun ( north facing). 401 and 402 have bigger terraces and some direct sun. 502 and 602 have a sunny entrance facing inner courtyard - we put our chairs out their a few times!
Well-placed for the la chica beach. Apartment bulding is second one in on a side street, close to las Canteras promenade.
Staff were very helpful and eg booked taxi for us to airport (best way to communicate with them is on whatsapp).

Amazing, incredible views, perfect for beach walks.

Very welcoming and accommodating staff. Incredible views from our balcony and perfectly placed to enjoy beach walks, journeys to the city centre and close to 2 mini supermarkets and cafes/bakeries nearby. Excellent holiday many thanks :)

New apartments, great location

Great location near the beach and restaurants.
Supermarket Spar nearby.
Very clean and spacious room with a small balcony. Free WiFi. Multiple cupboards for storage. Modern.
We had a Superior Apartment.
Kitchen - everything you need, dishwasher, fridge etc.
Living room - dining table, sofa, sofabed, Android TV.
Bedroom - great bed, good pillows, Android TV, space for working.
Bathroom - good shower, showergel/shampoo/conditioner.
Breakfast is next door in a cafeteria.
You can choose 3 items from menu selection - warm drink (coffee), cold drink (juice), food (sandwich or something made from egg).
Food is good, coffee is terrible.
Overall experience 5/5.
