Terrible Experience: Filthy Apartment and Inhuman, Discriminatory Treatment We just concluded a miserable stay at EasySleep Eixample (Sicilia, 159). While the location is acceptable (though the area feels a bit rough) and the balcony deserves a 9/10 for its beautiful view of the Basilica, the rest of our experience was an absolute nightmare due to the unhygienic conditions and shocking lack of human empathy.The Apartment: 5/10The apartment itself was highly disappointing. The bathroom and shower were filthy, disgusting, and covered in uncleaned mold and fungus. The bed linens were rough and uncomfortable—ironic for a place named "EasySleep." Furthermore, the TV was a complete disaster; it is a basic, local-only TV with no smart features. The only redeeming quality was the kitchen utensils.Inhuman and Hostile Check-in Experience The worst part of our trip was the hostile and discriminatory treatment we received upon arrival on August 4th. We had previously informed management that we would arrive between 12:30 PM and 1:30 PM, hoping for a slightly early check-in. This is crucial because my wife has severe mobility issues following spinal surgery and lives with a heart pacemaker.When we arrived at 12:40 PM, the locker was empty. I called the office, and the representative immediately snapped that we had to wait until 2:00 PM. Meanwhile, the cleaning lady appeared and began shouting angrily at us to leave and return later.I explained my wife’s medical condition and the fact that she was becoming dizzy from standing, as there were no chairs available. In response, the office staff callously demanded that I text or email official medical documents as "proof." Even after I sent the documentation, they continued to rudely deny us entry, claiming the room wasn't ready. However, we later realized the apartment was fully ready—the hostile cleaner simply refused to let us in out of spite and prejudice.Eventually, around 1:30 PM, the cleaner reluctantly handed over the keys after seeing my wife's physical distress.This was the most degrading, racist, and inhuman treatment we have ever experienced during our travels in Europe. No human being—let alone a disabled traveler—should be subjected to such cruelty. We will be reporting this severe breach of ethics and discrimination to Human Rights Australia upon our return. Avoid this establishment at all costs.

Apartments easy sleep
Overall pleasant stay. Relatively close to downtown. Secure location. A bit noisy from traffic despite being a quiet area. The elevator is very narrow and in winter it is a little cold not having heating in all rooms.

Great apartment
It was a great apartment, the staff was available 24 hours so it was convenient if we had a problem. The room was also very comfortable, it was very clean and there was a lot of room. As well as this you don't have to worry about safety, because there is a safe in the room, a code to open the door for the apartments.
The one problem we had was finding parking because the apartment was in the centre of Barcelona so it took a while. But the staff said there was a massive parking lot big enough for 400 cars, the staff at the car park were also available 24 hours and he was nice and gave us a space near the exit which was convenient since we had quite a bit of luggage to take.
Also the elevator was a little unpredictable but there were stairs, so that wasn't too much of an issue.

Price performance is very good
The apartment was clean, comfortable and fully met our needs. It is in a safe area, there is a closed parking lot right opposite. It's around 16 euros per day... It's 10-12 euros away by taxi from the center and the seaside. But there are nice restaurants within walking distance around it. 10 minutes walking distance from La Sagrada Familia Cathedral....
