What a feast of food and so nice staff :-)

We had a very pleasant stay, the staff was very kind and the Gourmet meal was really lovely. The hotel is both Hotel and Inn, so you can enjoy both the restaurant and also the cosy atmosphere at the bar.
Rooms were large and light with big windows towards the town square.
Had the rooms been a little bit more modern, the rating would have been excellent, but again we all have different taste.
Highlight was the food and the hospitality of the staff.

Not a place for parties

Haven't visited the place since they opened. We contacted the hotel regarding an offer for an event we will hold in October. The hotel is just open again, and we in the family would like to support the local. We wrote to the hotel and had a gpd conversation. The owner of the hotel wrote that she would make an offer for the whole thing. We have yet to hear from them. So if you want to hold a party, choose anything but the hotel in Vamdrup. They don't want to make money, except at their bodega! Does not

Small city hotel

Hotel location is very good center of Vamdrup city. Parking places are behind hotel. My room was very big, but my colleague room is quite small. Hotel restaurant is very good and you can get good value for your money. They close kitchen at eight o´clock. Town is very quiet, so i´m sure you can sleep well.

Cosy little Hotel

Hotel Vamdrup is a cosy little Hotel very basic but the people were very hospitable ant the breakfast was good. Stayed for one night only but would have liked to have relaxed in the little town and with lovely surroundings.

Hyggelige omgivelser og værdi for pengene.

Vi havde købt en deal i februar (fem retter og en overnatning + overnatning for 2, 1000 kroner) og ankom til det lille charmerende hotel placeret downtown, ned til bytorvet, og mindede en om en feriestil fra en svunden tid, da vi kom.
Indendøre blev vi modtaget af de sødeste, unge piger, der med et herligt og overbevisende gåpåmod introducerede os til værelse, morgenmadssal og procedure for vores senere restaurantbesøg i deres egen “Torvecafé”.
Værelserne var rene, spartanske og enkle, og passede fint til en enkel overnatning.
Maden vi fik serveret var vi ganske tilfredse med, det hele smagte skønt – ingen store armbevægelser, men solid klassisk kost med et lille twist, gode råvarer og usnobbet i hele sin fremtoning. Den tilkøbte vinmenu var desuden lige i øjet og servicen så fin.
Jeg kan slet ikke stå unge mennesker, som sagtens kunne være ti år yngre år end jeg selv, i hvid skjorte, med bippende telefoner og store check-in-skærme, som render rundt og stadig leverer en fantastisk service.
Vores unge værtinde for dagen var ganske sublim – kan tydeligvis både ejerens omvisning med de helt rigtige fagter og gæstens “huskeliste” for opholdet til fulde, samt kokkens remse om hver vin og ret på fingerspidserne, som hun gentager ordret ved hvert bord med samme troværdige sødme.
Morgenmadskompleet dagen efter var også en hyggelig og fin servering, og endnu engang blev vi modtaget med smil i salonnen.
Det kan jeg varmt anbefale til andre, der skulle få samme idé.
