Not the first time staying at the hotel but this time WiFi connection was not working. No matter what I tried the WiFi just didn’t want to connect. Other than that, pretty good and small room with everything you need for a few days. No amenities whatsoever.

Disgusting...

Even if you're a budget hotel, cleaness shouldn't be budget!! The room situation was awful! Bugs on walls and on the bed the window is so dirty and brown from the outside (perhaps it's not showing too much from the pic but you can tell) and dust is covering almost everything! I had to book there because my whole team was there for business in the city but gosh never again! It was disgusting...

We are of course very surprised and somewhat incomprehensible that you have been given a room that was supposed to be as dirty as it is described here. However, we hope that you contacted our reception so that we could offer you another and clean room and hopefully made us aware of this. We of course do not run our hotel with such poor cleaning. Poor experience

Great location. Dirty rooms (hair under the sheets and on the floor). Elevator doesn’t work so you have to carry your suitcases by the stairs.

A place to stay

Wakeup Aarhus is a nice and functional hotel if you just need a place to sleep in the centre of the city.
The rooms are in the very small department and very minimalist furnished, but there is clean and the bed is unmarked.
It works impeccably for a single night stay, where you are still out in the city all day. You get what you pay for – a basal place to stay without the big dickeders.

Budget-hotel type of room with low water pressure and inadequate curtains

The room was pretty clean, but it's a budget-hotel style of room. The bed is big and comfortable, but the bedspread I was given was small and made things uncomfortable because I am tall. Also, the curtains do not keep out the outdoor light at all. It was still light out at 22:00, and that meant the room was also still illuminated. The water pressure in the shower was really slow, which made my morning routine take a lot longer than usual and made it a very close call to catch the train back to the airport when I left. Also, sharing a room could be a little bit awkward since the bathroom is in a transparent enclosure. Also, water leaked out of the bathroom's transparent enclosure onto the main floor of the room when I took a shower. Those are a few pretty basic important things the hotel could improve.
