Amazing hotel

Outstanding Stay at Mandali Hotel, Cyprus!
We had an amazing stay at the Mandali Hotel in Protaras. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help, making us feel at home throughout our holiday.
The hotel is spotlessly clean, with modern, comfortable rooms that are serviced daily. The pool area is beautiful, with plenty of sunbeds, and the location couldn't be better—just a short walk from the stunning beach, as well as shops, bars, and restaurants.
The food was delicious, with a great variety at breakfast and there was always something to suit everyone's taste. The atmosphere throughout the hotel was relaxed and welcoming, making it the perfect place to unwind.
If you're looking for a hotel in Cyprus with fantastic service, excellent facilities, and an unbeatable location, I highly recommend the Mandali Hotel. We had a wonderful holiday and can't wait to return. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so memorable! ⭐

Nice hotel and good location.

Great location for central Protaras in a clean, friendly hotel with good facilities. We booked this 3* hotel and adjusted our expectations as such. We added half board upfront as seemed like a good deal with Jet2, so had buffet breakfast and evening meal which they let you swap for lunch if asked. We didn't eat at the hotel every day but when we did we found the food to be good with with enough un-processed options. The buffet is on the smaller side but if the buffet was bigger, for the size of the hotel, it would create much food waste, so although not an excess of options we found it was enough. Excellent, attentive and very friendly staff (shout out to Saroj and Prayash). Vegetarian options are mainly salads (good variety), soup + perhaps hot dish but chefs always on hand to advise. There is an a la carte menu available (extra charge).
We were always able to get sunbeds at the pool at any time of day in peak August season. We had the indoor pool to ourselves most days and the gym was well equipped, though didn't use the spa, sauna or games room.
Hotel is well kept and appears to be newly refurbished, the courtesy rooms on last day were spotless and bedrooms were cleaned daily.
Couple of observations.
Fridge in room is not very cold.
Some sunbeds sagged so could do with maintenance or replacing.
Swap single use plastic honey + butter portions for dispenser/fresh options.
Disinfectant spray to be made available for guests to wipe down gym equipment and mats.
Overall we were happy with our stay, we booked it for the proximity to beach and the strip and were not disapointed.

Hotel not 3stars.

This hotel is not three stars. It is shocking. To many sun beds cramped together. Food is lukewarm and not much variety. Staff do not look happy at all in the mornings.
We l been coming for years the location is good for the beach and the strip but nothing else.
The rooms are nice and clean.

Below average

We have been protoras twice now and cannot fault the destination. However this hotel is well below average. The breakfast is standard, can’t really complain but the staff at breakfast are beyond miserable. Taking your empty plates seems as if you’ve asked them to walk to konnos bay and bring you a coconut. They also take ages to take your empty plates so they pile up. The rooms you cannot fault other than the fridge which my breath is cooler than. The staff in the reception never say hello, and when asked anything, reply one word answers. The icing on the cake was a fire in the laundry of which the fire alarms on floors 3 and above didn’t work. Not safe at all. Overall, the hotel doesn’t make the holiday, but it definitely helps and the Mandali did not meet our average expectations.

Pool is open to EVERYONE!!!!! Including NON RESIDENTS

Absolutely shocked in what I’ve seen. People from Golden Star over the road coning over at 2330 the night before to place towels on the sun lounges for the next day, not only this i spoke with reception and he advised us they try to police it but cant! This means when a paying guest cant access a sun lounger because NON PAYING GUESTS are using them really takes the biscuit!!!!! NOT A GOOD WAY TO PRESENT YOUR HOTEL!!!!!
THIS NEEDS TO BE SORTED, AS WHY AM I PAYING TO USE THE HOTEL AND. ANT ACCESS THE SUN LOUNGERS BECAUSE OF NON PAYING GUESTS!!!!
PLEASE SORT THIS OUT!
