Wonderful stay at Pinorama
This place is well located. It is in the country and very nice and quiet, but only 6 km from The very pretty town of Sutton (cafés, restos, bakeries etc.)
There is a lovely area for nice nature walks and several little places to be quiet and relax with a good book or simply enjoy the surroundings.
The house is very pretty, country style and Pina, our host, is extremely kind and interesting; she is a fantastic artist. The breakfasts are delicious and all is home made.
The room was very comfortable with most of what we needed (microwave oven, toaster, dishes etc). Nice view of nature and the beautiful trees from the bedroom.
All very clean.
My husband and I really enjoyed everything about this place. I highly recommend it!

wonderful + serene country getaway
We've been returning to Pinorama for 10 years now. A beautifully designed country home full of light, cozy spaciousness and the creative touch of the owner's artwork here and there. Rooms are clean, welcoming and discreetly decorated, with very comfortable beds. Breakfast is healthy, tasty and satisfying, with a good chance of meeting interesting people. If you enjoy spacious landscape, a walk in the adjacent woods, ambient peacefulness and the inspiring beauty of good architecture mixed with original art, this could be your new favourite getaway. For us, Pinorama is a one-of-a-kind restful country home, and nothing short of a gem.

Serene, restful, and inspiring space. We will be back.
We visit the eastern townships regularly to enjoy nature and ski. This is our first time at B&B Pinorama. The house is located in a beautiful country setting, private and with an amazing view. We enjoyed our room going up the stairs from the first floor, it was cozy and warm with a comfortable bed. Pina, our host, was very kind and let us enjoy her living room, we spent an evening in front of the fireplace enjoying the fantastic country view outside and enjoying the sunshine coming through the windows, the house is beautifully designed.
The place is clean, warm, cozy, packed with interesting art, big windows, and lots and lots of trees. Breakfast was delicious, great coffee too! Thank you to Pina. We had a great time.

Exactly as we remembered
My husband and I are from Ottawa and stayed at Pinorama 10 years for our honeymoon and decided to go back for our anniversary. Everything was just as we remembered it. From Pina our host - such a lovely lady, to our room, to her buckwheat pancakes! I waited a long time to eat those again. We highly recommend staying at her B&B.
We will be back Pina, sooner than later. :)

Every time my guests enjoy their stay 'chez moi' my heart is full of gratitude. It is very important to me to make their experience pleasant while respecting their privacy. It was a pleasure to have you 10 years ago, as it was now. Thank you and hope to see you before another 10 years go by :-)

We do NOT recommend this B&B PINORAMA to anyone.
We do NOT (we cannot emphasize this enough) recommend this B&B for several reasons:
1. To start with - we had booked a room on the 3rd floor but right at the door we were told that though that room was available, there is another room on the 1st floor and we were sort of encouraged to take it. At first, we said OK, but then we realized that the 1st level of the house is kind of cold (about 0oC) and damp and smells like mold. Thankfully we got the original room we had booked.
2. Though the room itself was comparatively spacious, there was no space for our staff in the closets (except one section where the blankets and the bed sheets were). Everything else was filled with staff that belonged to the hostess, so much so that we had to keep our clothes, etc. in the suitcases. Not really very convenient.
3. The bathtub/shower was another issue. The bathroom of our room was built in the space directly under the pitched roof of the house (like an attic). Nothing wrong with that except the bathtub/shower are located in the lowest point where the roof reaches the floor. Not even a 5" high person or kid can stand under the shower. You have to squat or bend somehow. Using the bathtub did not seem a wise option to us either - it looked too old and not very sanitary. The fact that all the shampoo, shower gels, etc. were open bottles half used (I guess by previous guests) did not give us much more confidence in the sanitary conditions of the bathroom. Also - be prepare to not have enough water pressure if someone is using water somewhere else in the house.
4. We were also told that eating in the room is not appreciated. That would have been fine if we weren't also told that we could use the kitchen/dining area/living room IF NO ONE else is there (understand the hostess). Since all these things are advertised and featured on line, we believed they were part of the package (UNCONDITIONALLY). It is deceptive to post photos of the part of the B&B (kitchen, dining room, leaving room) and then say - you can not use them at your convenience. Those are actually part of the leaving quarters of the hostess, she is there watching TV and simply doing her things. One of the reasons we booked this place was the pictures of the fireplace and the leaving room advertised on line. Deception - these are not for the guests.
5. Security is another issue. The house is left unlocked all day/night long. Maybe the local residents consider the area safe enough to do that, but when one runs a business like B&B, he/she must provide better sense of security. On the top of this, the rooms (at least our) could not be locked from outside (only from inside). This is unacceptable for a place where complete strangers have to leave under the same roof.
6. At the end of our stay, after paying, we did not get any bill or receipt. Is this even legal? The asked price was way overpriced even for 5-star hotel. Unbelievable.
I also have some concerns for the previous general positive reviews for this place!

In my understanding B&B means BED + BREAKFAST and does not include use of my kitchen or camping in the rooms (which judging from the crumbs and food pieces was not respected)
There are issues that I can improve, and I will. The room keys are available and I will make sure the guests can have them in the future - as well as a receipt.
I see the guests as friends sharing my space. My house is open, I don't lock my own room and naively think that's how my guests feel as well. Obviously it was not the case.
Overall - my B&B is rated 3 suns , which is an official biannual evaluation of 'Corporation touristique du Quebec' therefore one can not expect a 5 star establishment. I checked the 4 and 5 suns establishments in Sutton to compare the prices: One night would cost anywhere betw. $ 220 - 320$ compare to $130 that I charged you. Hardly overpriced.
I am in business since 1994 and if all my guests were to have felt the same way as you I would have been out of business long ago.
I hope the next time your experience in the Eastern Townships will be a positive one.
