A great hotel located right alongside the harbour. Steps to dining and shopping. New walkways lead you around the waterfront. An annual stop for us!

Comfy beds, large screen TV, good wifi, very nice buffet breakfast, convenient location, underground parking for a fee, partial harbour view even for a city view room, no ventilation fan in bathroom.

The hotel needs a renovation in many ways. However, the location, spacious rooms, easy covered parking and friendly staff really made up for any imperfections.
We would definitely stay here again on a future trip.

The location is perfect. The cleanliness is to be desire to say the least. They left an armchair half chewed by a dog for three days in our room and I had to go and asked them to remove it several times because it was disgusting. When they finaly removed it, they never gave us another one... Also the phone to call the desk was not fonctionnal, so I had to go downstair to the Reception in order to make my complain. Overall, beside the fact that they have a good restaurant on the main floor and that the staff and the food is very good, it is the only thing that you enjoyed when we were to tire to go out at the end of a day. So, beside the fact that it is close to everything in the city of St-John and that we could see the river, the rest makes it that we do not recommend it as it is operating at this moment ....L.

We booked this room for the night we took the ferry from Digby to Saint John so we didnt have to worry about finding accommodations. We departed the ferry around 8pm and it was dark. We entered the address into our carplay and it kept saying we arrived at hotel but we were no where near any hotel. After driving back and forth in the vicinity we finally had to ask for help and a nice pedestrian assisted us. Come to find out that the hotel had no visible signage outside. Waiting for the signage apparently. Staff was very nice but it was so frustrating with the lack of signs. By 9pm we finally got to our room only to open the door and smell awful body odour smell. We should have went downstairs to lobby to get another room but we were very tired and just wanted to go to bed. The one window had a small semi-operating window that we could open so that helped. In the morning we noticed the other large window in the room that the seal was broken therefore condensation was built up and was a grungy mess. The bathroom grout was so gross. When we left i reported all this to the front desk as we felt if no one reports this then obviously housekeeping is not or management needs to perform spot checks on rooms if their staff doesnt report maintenance issues. The front staff was very nice and seemed to understand our frustration with the whole experience.
