Licsted in Plovdiv's historic center, Art Gallery 37 is a delightful boutique hotel that satisfies guests in every respect. Thirty-seven exquisite oil paintings by the renowned Bulgarian artist Emil Stoychev are displayed in the common areas. The helpful Iliana, the front office manager, is the heart and soul of the establishment. The personalized semi-buffet continental breakfast is a true highlight. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, featuring very large shower and toilet areas; the hotel offers almost everything one would find in a five-star deluxe property.

What a delightful experience. Beautifully situated in the Old Town this charming renovated building with an amazing art collection was a pleasure from start to finish. We were offered an upgrade for a very reasonable price which gave us a first class choice of the different generous breakfasts. The staff were outstanding- helpful accommodating and friendly. The room was lovely. However the bathroom had no hooks and no shelf space which was awkward and the toilet was actually INSIDE the shower area which meant everything including the toilet roll holder got wet!! Rather than bitsy little plastic bottles for shower amenities a wall dispenser would be more practical however the towels were thick and plentiful. Room has a charming small balcony and piped music. Overall highly recommended!

We stayed in room 403 for 2 nights and enjoyed it. Room had a small balcony facing the church next to it. The room is modern but had limited space - especially the bathroom had no counter space. Location is superb - 2 min walk to the Roman theater, 10-15 min walk to the pedestrian shopping street (be mindful of walking up and down the cobblestone streets). We enjoyed our stay - staff are super helpful and friendly.
Pro:
Location in the old town. Close to all main sites. We liked the location but others might not like the uphill walk.
Quiet area.
Cons:
Hotel does not have elevator so might be troublesome for adults with mobility issues. Staff are helpful with luggage though.
Breakfast is great but have to book a day prior for the kitchen to prepare.
Would definitely stay here again. Loved the decor and ambiance!

This beautiful little hotel is in the most perfect location. Stuff super friendly. Breakfast is nice, but need to preorder the night before.
Rooms are comfortable. Shower doors and bidet need repairs. Had a fantastic stay otherwise!!

Beautiful design of the rooms including original paintings signed by the painters. High quality bedding and comfortable bed. Perfect location within a few meters from the Roman Amphitheater, Kapana, craft coffee roastery and galleries and restaurants in the Old Town. Great place to enjoy the architecture of the period, enjoy the view towards the church next door and relax with a glass of wine by the window with a view towards the houses in the Old Town. Car access to the Old Town being guests of the hotel, which is otherwise not accessible by car, and the free parking was a big plus. Reception staff was very friendly and accommodating at all hours of the day and night. The hotel has 24hr staffed reception and they were helpful to supply ice upon request. Would definitely stay again and hopefully for longer.
