Meals can improve a lot

Comfortable guesthouse, adequate meals but repeated, I think that trm great opportunity for improvement given that the region offers a wide variety of products.

The stop between 2 rivers

The 8-day trip with Pantanal Jaguar Safaris took us from the Taiama Ecological Wilderness on the Paraguay River to Porto Jofre on the Cuiba River. Pousada Piuval was the inland stop where we were able to observe giant anteaters, crab eating foxes and an abundance of birds. I especially enjoyed a trail ride on horseback followed by a sunset dip in the pool while bats whizzed around my head eating all the insects. So cool!

I stayed for 2 nights. The tours offered were great. I saw many birds, Giant anteater and little Anteater, and a pair of Jaguar. The swimming pool was clean and nice for the hot noon to mid-afternoons between the tours. The food for 3 meals were excellent and had many choices. The room is spacious. I will return for another two nights on Oct. 5 to 7.

Fantastic stay

We arrived in the afternoon and was shown to our accommodation which was clean with comfortable beds and a lovely hot shower. We went out on a jeep safari and my husband enjoyed fishing in the lake and the wetlands. Had a boat trip and admired the Fauna and flowers. Just a lovely place to feel close to nature. It was so peaceful and there was so many beautiful birds, owls, caiman to name a few. Loved waking up to all the capybara just chilling out! Lots of horses too. We didn't do the horse riding as we had an afternoon by the beautiful pool reading our books and admiring the scenery. The food was fantastic full board and all cooked on site lots of Brazilian delicacies that we hadn't had before, 3 courses for lunch and evening meal. Breakfast was great too. Had a lovely relaxing time here. Our guide Zaine was so knowledgeable and really loved her job, she was amazing telling us all about the wildlife and the birds. Just a fantastic chilled time here, we loved it! Thank you
