Get out of this place!
We were in a group of 15 people, in 6 rooms. There is no standard in the rooms, it seems that the furniture of each room was received from donations. Our room smelled awful, the mattress was so soft, that if you lay down you would lean your back on the bed floor, because it wasn't box. The shower wasn't hot, it just worked cold, there was no face towel in the room. Both the bed and sheets were covered and also has no cover on the mattress. We requested the change of apartment, which was only possible the other day (we stayed two days a day). The other room was as bad as, just didn't smell that bad. The guesthouse has a pool, my daughter wanted to go to the pool, I requested a towel at the reception, which was promptly denied, I was informed that there was no towel for the pool, and that if I wanted to have to use the room, however, there would be no replacement, the replacement would occur only the other day when the maid came. But what's the point? By the way, the pool was covered.
Anyway, if you don't want to get stressed and have a terrible experience in Maceió, run away from this hostel.

Lack of care and capricho
The Pousada is a few metres from Praia das Almas, which is not recommended for bathing due to the strong waves.
The guesthouse has a good structure, but some care is missing. The room I stayed in was poorly taken care of, with the ceiling straw falling into our stuff. We were offered another room, but as we were already installed we decided to continue the stay there.
We stayed at the top and the wooden fences from the balcony were completely bambas. We even warned the reception for being something very dangerous, as anyone who would support could fall.
Breakfast didn't have many options, but what I had was delicious.
The center of Maceió is a little far away, it is not possible to walk, but by car/uber takes about 15 minutes and the race goes for about 10 to 15 reais.
A special compliment to the receptionists who were always ready to serve us.

Good structure, but without any maintenance!
The inn is very close to Cruz das Almas beach, which people don't go for a lot of swimming, as the sea is quite rough.
The parking lot is very small compared to the number of rooms, some will certainly be outside.
The inn is very large and has a good leisure structure, however, it is completely unmaintained.
The bedroom ceiling was peeling, the trash can was all rusty, the bathroom floor was stained, there was no window in the bathroom, the air conditioning didn't change the temperature, the towels were stained. Furthermore, they only left 1 roll of toilet paper already used for 3 people for 2 days. And only 2 towels for 3 people and no blanket. We had to ask for all of this at reception. The staff are very friendly.
The breakfast has little variety, but the food is good. The bad thing is that the place is tiny and without ventilation, it turns into an oven in that area, very unpleasant.

Below Expectations
The location is excellent, the staff are polite, however, what my husband and I were disappointed with was the cleanliness of the environment. Of the 5 days we stayed, we asked twice (morning and afternoon) for our room to be cleaned and it was not done. The only day they cleaned the space was the day before we were leaving. Furthermore, the bathroom needs maintenance - a metal trash can was very rusty, the electric shower didn't work, and the door didn't close. Regarding breakfast, they have good options, the environment is beautiful and decorated, but it is extremely hot and we were unable to feel comfortable, there is not even a fan in the place and due to the excess heat and lack of ventilation, flies swirled around the food. And finally, yellowed bed sheets and bath towels, not to mention dingy. I hope you review these issues mentioned here, as no guest deserves to go through what we went through, especially when our goal is a rest trip. It was our first time in Maceió, we will go again, but we will no longer stay at Pausada Araras.

Bad hostel.
Bad experience. The room was moldy, the minibar and the trash basket were all rusty. The light in the bathroom was even dark due to so much infiltration and dirt. The bed linen was all stained. Very poor breakfast and few seats. The pool was green with so much dirt. I don't know why the inn says it has parking, since the space for cars is a square in front of the inn, with cars parked on the sides and some in the middle, that is, no one can leave without disturbing at least three guests. Our car was left on the street, without any type of security. It's worth noting that when we arrived there were people drinking with several empty bottles on the stereo, as well as loud music coming from another guest in the pool, complete chaos. The inn has potential, but lacks organization and specific improvements.
