Excellent hotel! High level service, delicious and well-complete breakfast and a stunning view! The rooms are comfortable and very clean! It was an excellent experience!

Hotel does not meet the obligation to guarantee daily 24hs

Initially I was placed in a room whose access is through that of the cleaning products cabinet. Although it has the door the chance seemed very bad to me, even because of the noise that the maidens would have to make to start their work. After I had denied the exchange, I ended up getting switching to a room where the curtain did not completely cover the window, leaving flashes of light. The noise level of the air conditioning makes it impossible to sleep with it on. The doors had handcuffs falling and were pretty swollen. But by then, ok, the hotel is 3 stars, can not wait too long. However, the most outrageous thing is that the hotel simply disregards the existence of Section 4 of Article 23 of Law 11771/08 which states that the days are 24 hs. I was virtually kicked out of the hotel at 11:00 hs, and the check-in is from 14:00. A real absurd, especially because I asked to extend another hour and the attendant really intended to convince me that on a rainy Monday in June (low season) the hotel would be crowded!!!!! So I do not recommend and would not return to this hotel.

So-so

The Daifa was chosen by the organization staff of an event we attended in Florianópolis, so we had to stay there. Ok, it's near downtown and the breakfast is good. The room had AC and the ocean view is amazing. It,s near the airport and the staff is very friendly (as most of the city population).
But it's not a place I will choose myself. The hotel is pratically in the Saco de Limões "favela", which can be pretty dangerous (two days after we left, drug dealers burned a police car nearby). There is also a nightclub across the street that keeps you awake with loud music all night long. And it's not that cheap (about US$ 120,00/night).
You rather rent a car and stay at some hostel at the north beaches (Praia Mole, Ingleses, Jurerê) where the sandy beaches, big waves, trendy restaurants and amazing dunes are.

Gorgeous view, okay rooms, and good price

We stayed here 3 times while on our vacation in Brazil. We used it as a transit hotel when coming to and from other parts of Brazil. It was very convenient and close to the airport. The view of the bridge is so beautiful. The price was economical for us, and the location was impossible to beat. We'd stay here again.

Boa localização, porém valorização de uma vista razoável

Hotel fica bem próximo ao centro e acessos às principais vias, limpo, café da manhã bom, com frutas e frios frescos, cama e roupas de cama limpos, O estacionamento é coberto e gratuito.
Alguns pontos negativos foram, a única tomada perto da cama estava estragada, tive que afastar a cama e usar uma tomada antiga que ficou escondida na reforma, se for mandar mensagem para a recepção faça umas 5 horas com antecedência, dobrou de preço na virada de outubro para novembro.
Minha experiência tirando os pros e conra vale a pena na baixa temporada. Pelobsimples motivo que não pagaria mais para ficar num hotel do centro a quilômetros da praia ou de qualquer point.
