Good place

We stopped here just for a night but it was a pleasant stop. The staff were all helpful with our future travel plans.
The room was a reasonable price and clean.
Wifi in the reception area was good.
Breakfast included was also very good. I enjoyed

No recommendation

This hostel can be better if they can renovate the bathrooms and the most importantly the rooms. Not lot of people in here, that's mean it's hard to socialise and make friends to hang out with. The location if this hostel is good if you love to be around the city and feel the atmosphere of the town. Close to the water front.
You know u wouldn't expect much from a hostel with a cheap price like this.

Average is the right review

So, about the place, it is okay, we took a double room, which was good enough, clean and not noisy.
The location is good if you are around to do things in city center, there is no parking lot. The bus station is not far and there are some bus stops nearby, BUT, the public transportation to go to the beaches and this things is quite bad and not well organised in the city. So if this is your purpose, do not stay in the city center.
The staff was okay, some nice, some with an "I don't give a ***" face, but still okay. The breakfast was also simple.
The Internet is not available everywhere (and it is clear on the website), still, it would be a nice and not expensive neither hard improvement to the hostel.
The people we met were not party people, the hostel does not focus on making people know each other.

Average.

Stayed only for a night. There's free wi-fi and a cable TV in the common areas, free breakfast and a self-catering kitchen to cook your own meals. The dorm I stayed had lockers and a bathroom inside, but as a whole it looked dark and prison-looking, with the dorm faintly smelling of urine. On the upper floors I saw communal bathrooms and showers, and there was also a room for couples and family. Near the hostel, there is a supermarket, a café, a laundry service and the bus terminals so it can be your base of operations during your stay. The hostel staff was helpful, most of them, except this one moody young woman - her neglect actually led to a minor incident on my dorm. It seemed like a lot of the guests were using it more as a cheap hotel than a hostel.

Very average

I stayed here for three nights after staying in the east and north of florianopolis. This was the cheapest in central, but by far not the cheapest on the Island. It was a good base for getting around, (but so is Lagoa) and the hostel was cleanish and the breakfast good, with coffee bread jam etc. the room was really dull looking, prison like! But they have lockers and a bathroom with the room wich is more the can be said for some I've stayed in. The one really good thing about here was the staff, they were helpful and friendly and spoke good English. Well the men did, the woman was a bit moody. Everyday.
