Go Visit Bermuda
We spent a wonderful week at the resort in June. The rooms were very clean and the rooms staff were helpful. The beach was amazing and the views from our room were great. We really enjoyed being able to sit outside in our own private space. The food in the restaurant was delicious and the staff very accommodating of all requests. We were close to things and used the taxi app Hitched, which worked out great. Yes the resort is a little older but it was a great location for us.

There were pros, but bigger cons.
Pros:
- Restaurant staff were great, very friendly.
- The beach was beautiful and we had a great view from our room.
Cons:
- On the first day, we were told we were going to have to move to a different room on the second day. The second room was worse, and the story for why didn’t stack up. They were then very slow and late at actually moving us, restricting our ability to do what we wanted. Nothing was offered to us as compensation until I asked what we’d received on return given you would never expect to be moved rooms part way through the holiday. Later they gave us a free breakfast to compensated.
- The aircon in the new room rattled loudly. You had to wear earplugs in order to sleep. We asked for it to be looked at but it wasn’t.
- They tried to overcharge us by $50 per night by including a higher nightly rate than was agreed upon booking. Make sure you check your bill in detail and compare to what you expect.
- The bar on the beach wasn’t open. This wasn’t an issue, but there was one member of staff taking drink orders but he only seemed to go to a few people. No clear logic on who he was going to but it definitely wasn’t everyone on the beach.

Stunning location, memorable holiday
My wife and I were celebrating 40 years of marriage and wanted to go on a memorable holiday. We chose Coco Reef on the recommendation of a friend and it certainly didn't disappoint. The location is stunning, metres away from the most glorious soft sandy beach you can imagine and lapped by the clearest turquoise sea I have ever seen. We were very impressed by the standard of the refurbished hotel and the friendly service from all of the staff.
The food is truly exceptional and the waiting staff were all friendly, welcoming and helpful.
General Manager Matthew and his team should be proud of the experience they gave us and the memories that have been made.

Roaches in the room. Hotel Trash can overflowing. System for room charges is not secure. If someone knows your room # you might be left with extra charges like I was. Front desk was helpful in getting it removed. Overall not worth the price tag of $450+ a night. having to sleep with the tv to avoid seeing bugs should be $200 at most even in Bermuda

Great Location on South Shore on Elbow Beach.
We had a nice stay at this hotel. It’s located right near one of the nicest beaches in the area, and the beach connects directly to Elbow Beach. It was never too crowded, which made it perfect for relaxing.
The room was very nice, and the hotel staff were friendly from the moment we checked in. Everyone was friendly and always said hello or good morning when they saw you.
There’s a convenient food market about a 7 minute walk away, and the bus stop is also around a 7 minute walk. From there, you can take the #7 or #8 bus to Hamilton’s central bus station, the Dockyards, or Horseshoe Bay.
one nit is they id have K cups and coffee machine but other than cups and the coffee pods no creamer and sugar or tea bags. I did ask at restaurant and they gave me some creamer and sugar packets. very freindly and no problem. Also this was not a problem per say but a microwave would be nice to have to heat food etc. They have a on-site restarant which we ate alunch and dineer and was very good. they do come down to beach area for dribk orders and did not relaize they also do food orders. The location is nice a quite but food with walking distance is linited. we ate one at teh Paraquet Cafe about 8 minute walk. we did go to food market and got some yogurts, crakers creem cheese and hard boiled eggs. Worked out nice and saved a few dollars.
