Located on the beach, this cabin is in Maya Beach, a neighborhood in Placencia. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Maya Beach and Placencia Beach. Inky's Mini Golf and Lebeha Drumming Center are also worth visiting. Just a short distance from the sea, this beach cabin lets you experience it all. Thanks to the convenient uncovered onsite parking, you can either leave your vehicle behind and enjoy a short 5-minute walk to Maya Beach, or easily tackle the quick 5-minute drive to Inky's Mini Golf. As you settle into this 1-bedroom rental, you'll find a safe and blackout drapes/curtains. Other amenities include bed sheets, soundproofing, and housekeeping.

Michele and Ed have put together something very special. Quiet, relaxed the perfect setting. Close to everything. Romantic reconnect, perfect. They are on site available for any question or any need. We will be back!

Wonderful place to stay in Placencia

Lovely place for adults/couples on the beach. Private cabanas fully stocked with everything you need, king sized beds. Comfortable patios in the shade, lovely lounge chairs on the beach, immaculately groomed white sand beach; 15 min or so from the Village with shops and restaurants, but there are also restaurants close by. The hosts, Michelle and Ed (and their daughter Jessica, who does most of the booking) were super friendly, responsive and fun people to chat with. They have some old coaster bikes you can use and kayaks for mellow days on the water. Highly recommend.

Jjems cabanas are the ultimate adult paradise experience! The hosts are absolutely amazing and will leave you wanting nothing. The cabanas are fully and very well stocked. The bed was so comfortable and the ac and wifi was strong. The hosts left us some goodies as a welcome & anniversary gift and they did not disappoint. The ocean is literally steps from the cabana and morning coffee watching the sunrises were unreal. The oceanview and clear waters are out of this world. The pool was also very beautiful and clean. This piece of paradise is a must visit if you're looking to chill and decompress with total privacy! There's great restaurants nearby as well as a bowling alley & mini golf. I had the best massage of my life at Maya beach hotel and Placencia village was a short 15-20 min ride up the road so we loved to be able to go into town when we wanted to hang out and also be able to stay in total privacy at our own beachfront cabana. A car or golf cart is highly recommended but the hosts will help you with absolutely anything you may need. Michelle is an amazing, well known and respected realtor in Belize who can also help you find your own piece of paradise to call your own. If you're planning to stay in Placencia, this is exactly where you want to be. I highly recommend Jjems cabanas and cannot wait to return! HUGE thanks to the Sharpe family for sharing their piece of paradise with us. We will def be back soon!

Most Beautiful/Comfy/Perfectly Located Place to Stay in Belize

Gorgeous doesn't even begin to describe how stunningly beautiful the cabanas, beach, pool, & entire facility are. The hosts are so wonderful. They are very generous with their knowledge of all things local and fun. Their attention to detail is unlike any place we've ever stayed before. Everything is super comfortable - the bed, pillows, sofas, beach lounges!

JJEM Cabanas…. A little piece of paradise!

This was our first ever trip to Belize and choosing JJEM Cabanas was the best decision we made for our accommodations. The owners Michelle & Ed were AMAZING hosts! They made us feel at home as soon as we arrived. They thought of everything to welcome us to our cabana rental. From our welcome basket containing chips, salsa, fruit and rum to our fridge being stocked with local chocolates, jelly and crackers.
The Cabana was perfectly designed. The little personal touches throughout the Cabana really made it so special. It felt like Michelle & Ed were sharing their home with us. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable. The kitchen contained all the supplies we needed to cook and serve amazing meals to enjoy.
The view from the front porch was absolutely stunning. We saw beautiful sunrises and enjoyed watching waves crash onto the shore along with Pelicans putting on a show diving for fish. The beach was well maintained and made for a relaxing time under the palm trees by the water.
The location of the cabanas was excellent. We were close to so many restaurants within walking distance to enjoy delicious food and drinks. We were able to rent golf carts from a local rental company that was recommended by Michelle which allowed us to explore the beautiful peninsula further. Having the insider info from our local hosts really helped us navigate the area easily.
Overall, this was one of the best places we have ever stayed. We were not even 2 days into our trip and we were already looking at our calendar to book our next stay at JJEM. We highly recommend that you choose JJEM as your next stay in Belize!!
