First time and thrilled
We would recommend the Denggenhof 100%.
The staff is exceptionally friendly.
An apartment building with wellness area is being built next door which offers a great upgrade for guests in addition to the old stock.
We stayed at Denggenhof and had a room there it was very clean , a little older but you can tell that it was always very well maintained .
From the construction site (only started from 8.00 , meticulous attention was paid) you heard nothing and on the day we were Yes anyway on tour . The works were in no way disturbing. Besides, it is visible on the website and platforms .
Hats off Denggenhof and good luck
Will definitely come back soon

So I have to get in touch now regarding one of the I noticed review of Mr Gerald of Rivia !!
It is hard to believe that you have to complain about anything at Denggenhof !
I find this review totally indiscussable simply not justified, and even outrageous!!!!!!
Firstly :
Yes there is a construction site to improve the Denggenhof it come as we were informed 9 apartments with wellness area, according to visualization it will be incredibly beautiful and a great upgrade .
The construction site always started only from 8.00 am and not as described at 7.00 am !!!! It was very meticulously paid attention to it . Construction sites there was no noise and on the other hand all are under tags on the mountains lakes etc.
It was really communicated everywhere!!
We stayed 10 days at Denggenhof and it was wonderful!!!
You can also see something in everything and that !!!!
Personally, this annoys me a lot, because these guests were there at the same time !!!
The efforts and attentions of everyone was so palpable and warm !!!
It was always asked if everything was good , somehow problems are !!!
This statement that there are nicer and cheaper accommodations will probably be but not with so much joy and heart .
Besides, everyone knows that you HAVE TO PAY FOR DOGS AND NOT JUST €15.-
TO THE INFO WE ALSO HAVE A DOG AND TRAVEL VERY MUCH ANYWHERE YOU HAVE TO LAY DOWN UP TO € 35.- and more !!!!!!!
EVEN IF YOU GO WITH THE LIFT (GONDEL) THE DOG COSTS € 6.-
THE USUAL LOCAL TAX DOES NOT REFER TO THE RENTAL BUT THAT GETS THE REPORTING !!!!! AND THAT YOU HAVE TO SETTLE THIS SUBURBAN EVERYONE KNOWS AND IS ALSO CLEARLY VISIBLE ON BOOKING ,COM AND OTHER PLATFORMS!!!
MAN ALSO DOES NOT JUST TRAVEL WITHOUT A WORD WITH TWO DOGS ,IT IS ON REQUEST !!!! And we've noticed that ,and then leaving without checking out ,we've also noticed is very unusual . We also had to pay the rest on departure , as is simply usual.
You can't do this anywhere !!!!!

Dream holiday in the Tyrolean mountains
Just a dream holiday!!!
From breakfast to the lovingly designed garden. Attention to detail is very important here! Price performance is top! We were met every wish and we were looked after all around!
We will definitely come back and look forward to seeing you again.

Construction site noise / high additional fees
The property offers an abundant breakfast buffet and partly renovated rooms - this also ends the list of amenities. The bathroom in our room was very nice, but the room has been waiting for some time for a renovation including equipment. The so-called flat screen TVs are probably the first devices of this type – most of the channels were blocked / we finally watched a movie on our laptop – the internet just grabbed it.
The bed or rather the mattresses were already quite worn out and thus offered no real rest at night.
What we had to experience even more painfully on site (not from the accommodation management) was the construction site, which was about 10 meters from our rooms. At 7:00 a.m. the hammering started and neither before arrival nor upon arrival at the reception did anyone find it worth mentioning. There may be people who are not bothered so much by the construction site noise in the morning – but very much so that we certainly would not have booked there if this were known.
Furthermore, we already stated at the time of reservation that we are travelling with 2 small dogs – the property also did not find it worth mentioning that they charge additional fees. These additional fees were also not small, namely 15 euros per dog per day.
If you stay for 2 days for 260,00 Euro plus 60 Euro for the dogs and 10 Euro local tax you get to 165,00 Euro per day accommodation with construction site noise.
In the aftermath, the gentleman from the reception writes that the information from the construction site is on your homepage – well, you’re out of luck if you book through Booking and the owner of the hotel thinks we should have informed ourselves there.
There are nicer accommodations for better value for money.

How a B&B should be run!
We stumbled in here by accident! We were driving back from Italy and decided to have one more ski day over New Year as the weather was so good! I spotted the Pension from the road and stopped to enquire if they had a room for the 3 of us!
The result was a big spacious room, comfy clean beds and the friendliest staff (all) that I have ever encountered in a ski resort!
When we met the owner the follwing day, we realised that the standards that run through the whole of the B&B business are set by her! She takes enormous pride in her B&B and the community her family have lived in for 200yrs. She is wholly focussed on her guests having the best possible experience! I thank her for that!
But, I have to mention this seperately, the breakfast was outstanding! A feast that would not be out of place in a 5* hotel! Read previous remarks!
The pension is an easy 15/20 min walk along the main raod to Soll, where we found many different and varied options to eat and drink during our two nights.
For skiing we drove to the free car park at Scheffau, which we know well from previous trips!
Many thanks to all the staff for making our stay so memorable!
