O Hotel Bellevue, ideal para famílias, desfruta de uma localização tranquila em meio à Cordilheira Nockberge, oferecendo vista panorâmica do Lago Millstatt, que fica a apenas 5 minutos a pé.

Good hotel for winter holiday.
Stopped at this hotel for several days in February 2025. It is located quite close to Goldeck ski resort - only around 10 minutes by car.
Hotel is nice and cosy. It is not the newest of course, but has specious rooms and nice view towards the lake.
Lift only goes to 4th floor, so if you stay on 5th one be prepared to walk one staircase.
Most of the staff speak some English, but not everybody, so good chance to practice your Deutsch. They are helpful, but don't
Rooms was spacious enough (2 adults, 2 kids). For 3 it would be really great. Separate bath room (with two sinks - very convenient) and toilet room, however doors are sliding glass doors, so practically no sound isolation.
Two parking on two levels (one below ground on the opposite side).
It has very nice lobby with sitting space and real fireplace that was working every evening - great to hang out after the dinner. In a book shelf there are some board games (mostly in German, but instruction are usually available online) and choice of books (mostly in German as well).
Hotel has separate locked dry room to store ski equipment, so every morning our shoes and skies where dry and warm!
We booked breakfast + dinner package.
Breakfast is classic buffet, drinks are included (juice, tea, coffee), with good selection of cheese, prosciutto etc.
Dinner is four course serving salad (buffet), soup (one variant, buffet), main (cooked by chef), desert (cooked by chef), drinks are extra. One day a week it is just a simple buffet as it is a day off for chef.
All food was testy and properly prepared.
I've seen some comments here people complain about food choice, I could easily imagine how it could be for Brits that only eat dönner, fish and chips and Indian take away.
Special level of joy for kids was heated indoor swimming pool (bath robes and bath towels are provided on request).
It also has big dry sauna (turned on upon request), but it is German style - so no kids and no clothes are allowed :)
Overall highly recommended.

Not reccomended
Positive: Clean rooms. Bicycle room.
Negative:
Before arrival they asked us for special request, we wrote would like to have AC. As we didnt get any response, we expect the best but was not the case. The room was smaller than advertised, no explanation/compensation provided. From the previous rewievs we expected room would be basic and outdated, but reality was even worse. This is not 4* hotel even in much poorer country, i would give this 2* at most. They offer us the ride to the center, but when needed there was no driver in next 3 hours available. At breakfast we order fried eggs, after waiting 30 minutes response from lady was that she just forgot.
Unfortunately, this was a highly disappointing experience. While operational mistakes can happen, the real issue was the complete lack of empathy and care shown toward us as customers. The staff seemed entirely indifferent to the issues we faced. I cannot recommend this place based on the poor service.

Comfortable Hotel in quiet location
Arrived by bicycle up quite a steep hill from the lake. Warmly welcomed and able to safely and securely store bicycles.
Good sized room with comfortable bed and good shower. As its in a quiet location good nights sleep.
Had dinner at the Hotel which was also very good.
Excellent breakfast and good service throughout.

Neat and well located
Neat hotel with very cult junior boss. Room on the ground floor under the sloping roof in summer quite warm and unfortunately not good to darken. Beds good. Bathroom quite small with small shower and very low toilet.
Dinner at half board with very good value for money, small wine selection with good plants at moderate prices. Breakfast typical country well sorted, however, the staff has not been attentive from the beginning, so no egg prices were offered.

Objective consideration
The location etc. was really nice the way up is something
The 2 rooms are definitely recommended, but the 4 rooms are not. The view depends on which side the window is on but my view was really nice.
The bathrooms/toilets are not lockable for any reason.
However, I was very disappointed with the food that it was often relatively tasteless and/or served unlovingly. However, this is only my opinion and does NOT mean that this has to apply to everyone.
Overall it was nevertheless a very nice stay and definitely absolutely friendly staff
