Nice hotel in the middle of the village

Nice little 3-star hotel in the middle of the village, no luxury but nice atmosphere and nice prices. The rooms are clean and fresh, several with access to the shared balcony. The staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel offers half board which we highly recommend as it is very affordable. The food is classic Austrian home cooking of the slightly simpler variety, but hearty & tasty (but on the next visit we would like to include a fresh salad buffet, some more vegetables please!:-)

Charming little family owned

hotel, located in a car-free area in the center of Saalbach.
We stayed at the hotel for 6 days via a group trip with Vitus Rejser.
You feel welcome from the first day and you could clearly feel that we were in the center.
We had booked a room with a balcony (recommended), where Tyrolean geraniums and petunias unfolded in the balcony boxes. Good beds and bathroom with shower. Cleaning every day.
The breakfast is a little more modest than in larger hotels, but it was definitely OK.
For dinner, a 3-course menu, which was well prepared, nicely arranged, served at the table and tasted great. You don't go to bed hungry.
Nice little wine list, where we can especially recommend Grüner Veltliner.
The level of service is high, informal and present *****
Here we come again another good time.

Julia is a hero

The service here particularly from Julia is off the scale. The beer and other drinks are value compared to many places in Saalbach. She really looked after us as we did go there most nights. She advised us where we could sit as we were not eating. Brilliant

Traditional, friendly and … close to all lifts!

Perfect location and all the must-haves for a skiing holiday - comfortable rooms, generous breakfasts catering to every taste, and excellent ski store which produced toasty warm boots every morning. We also enjoyed the sauna and hot tub to soothe aching limbs - swimwear optional so you have been warned! No residents lounge but always room for games at a dining table if needed.
Four-course dinners were traditional and very generous on the meat front. But it’s fine to decline a course. And we found lunchtime salads up the mountain held off the scurvy
So many ski hotels are so focused on “processing” residents at either end of the day that they neglect to treat us as guests. The lovely staff made us feel so welcome every day and really contributed to an excellent holiday

Great Schnitzels

We had diner on the terrace of this hotel. Very friendly staff. We ordered schnitzel with fries and got so much schnitzel that we actually couldn't finish our plates. Tasted all very well. Value for money
