Warm, Cozy, Convenient
Just arrived back home from our "annual" ski trial in Tirol. This year, we've been very, very inspisred to choose a gasthause for accommodation rather than a hotel.
The location is placed extemelly well (in Hollenzen) - just 2' driving distance from Mayrhofen, with excellent access to both Penkenban and Horgerban lifts.
The business is run by a very polite and friendly family, which has put all efforts to accommodate our demands... and we're now grateful for that ❤ !
We've been lodged into a 2 pax GREAT mountain view studio, with balcony and fully furbished kitchen !!! (including dish washer), fridge, coffee machine, microwave, etc all of them brand new!
Spatious bathroom with excellent "all time" hot water pressure & room heat. (you know, in Austria some landlords are rationalizing these and thus... it could be a problem - which definetly here did not exist )
Wi-Fi works well and costs extra (€5/week/device).
The parking is generous, located in the front of the chalet.
The fam. runs a milk cows farm, so for very convenient prices, they could supply you with fresh cheese, milk, smoked spek on a daily basis!
Everything there looks nice, authentic, very traditional - good taste & feng-shui's everywhere!
It's an extremelly good bargain, at rational prices which could fit well in a wide range of "visitors" .... from honeymooners to groups of dozen, both summer & winter!
One small minus to work on: TV channels... very few in English (only 1 or 2).... try to load up 2-3 more (music, movies, news)
Otherwise: Do not miss it! It's lovely!
