Wonderful Property/Great Location!

I'm posting this review on TripAdvisor even though it can't be booked on this site--as it's a go-to resource for many (including me) and there are no current reviews about it. To my knowledge, it can only be booked on Booking.com or on the official Kitzbuhel website.
This property is an absolute gem and a great value. My wife/I just spent 7 nights at Gastehaus Wallner. It is located equidistant between the main Kitzbuhel and Kitzbuhel Hahnenkamm train stations--about a 10 minute walk to each--and it's the same distance (a 10 minute walk) to the base of either the Hahnenkamm or Kitzbuhel Horn ski slopes. Rooms are relatively compact, but well designed and there is plenty of room/closet space. The property has been renovated--it's hard to tell exactly when as it is so well maintained and kept absolutely spotless. TV's have a ton of channels, the water is hot, and we loved the towel warmers in the bathroom.
We also had a shared balcony (with other rooms) that provided a wonderful view--both day and night--of the Hahnenkamm and the town of Kitzbuhel.
We chose to rent/store ski equipment near the slopes, but if you bring ski equipment, the Gastehaus provides ski storage and boot warmers. We took the train, but I believe free on-site parking is provided.
An ample breakfast is provided from 7:30-9:30 each morning--all cold dishes (except for the hard boiled eggs) and includes cereals, yogurt, meat/cheeses, fresh breads and coffee/tea/juice.
Gabriela and her mother are wonderful hosts and we greatly enjoyed our entire stay. The room rates are extremely reasonable--and it is fantastic to stay within walking distance of all Kitzbuhel has to offer, versus staying elsewhere and constantly utilizing buses or driving to get into town.

Enjoyable stay

If you’re looking for a very clean, reasonably priced, friendly location - this is it! Only a 7 minute walk to town and in a very nice area. If you are skiing I would recommend getting a locker under the hannenkambahn as it will make the walk much easier. Very affordable too. Staff was lovely and breakfast was delicious!

Welcoming host

We stayed here for 5 days whilst skiing in Kitzbuhel. Gastehaus Wallner is a short walk from the ski slopes and the centre of Kitzbuhel. The host was so welcoming and went out of her way to make our stay comfortable. The room was clean and comfortable.

Optimaler Standort

Verbrachte nun bereits das zweite Mal einen (Sommer)kurzurlaub im Gästehaus Wallner. Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis ist wirklich sehr gut. Ich hatte immer ein Einzelzimmer, welches wirklich sehr sauber und ausreichend ausgestattet ist. Leider ist beim Fernseher die Lautstärke derartig gedrosselt (je nach Zimmer zwischen 14 und max.20), dass man das vergessen kann. Trotz Reklamation ist die Unterkunftgeberin nicht bereit (sie kennt sich auch dabei selbst nicht aus), die Lautstärke etwas stärker zu machen. Die Ausrede, dass Nachbargäste ansonsten gestört werden ist lächerlich.
Das Frühstück ist sehr gut und lässt keine Wünsche offen.
Parkplatzsituation ist auch etwas prekär. 7 PKW können bequem parken, für den Rest wird es kritisch (da steht man dann schon im Weg).
Die Zimmer sind sehr schön (klein). Mit Glück hat man auch einen Balkon mit Sicht auf die Streif und den Ganslernhang. Badezimmer sind klein, aber modern und mit sehr guter Dusche. Und auch noch zu erwähnen: man besteht auf Barzahlung!
Die Lage ist wirklich ausgezeichnet. Man kann fußläufig alles erreichen. Alles in allem für Kitzbühel empfehlenswert!

Sehr nett

Sehr bemühte und nette Wirtin! Die Zimmer sind sauber und das Frühstück ist sehr gut. Die Lage ist sehr zentral und gratis Parkplätze sind vorhanden. Kitzbühel zu einem vernünftigen Preis. 100%ige Weiterempfehlung.
