Great all around stay. Friendly staff, nicely decorated, comfortable room with really nice bed. The food was amazing, both for dinner and breakfast. Also had the tastiest Gin&tonic I’ve had in a long time.
We will defenately be back, a lovely hotel we very much recommend.

Good for hiking at Patscherkofel

The pros:
The pool-sauna-relaxation room area and the gym,
The cleanliness of the room,
The hearty and varied breakfast (savory and sweet),
The very friendly breakfast staff,
The location near the foot of the Patscherkofel summit,
The proximity to public transport stops (bus and tram),
The decor and the authentic chalet style (you either like it or you don't...),
The free parking,
The promotional offers if you book directly from the hotel's website.
The -
The restaurant, to be avoided if you are hungry and want to eat well (very, very, very, very long wait to be served and the meal was not great...),
The availability and friendliness at the front desk depending on which receptionist greets you,
The soundproofing with the room above,
The lack of air conditioning for summer tourists,
A lot of car traffic around the hotel.

Decent hotel which served the purpose of a good night sleep before the onwards journey. Disappointed with the restaurant; it’s expensive (which is fine), but the quality does not match the pricetag.
