Special atmosphere with comfort, historical ambience & Ayurveda
Very nice and atmospheric ambience within the ancient walls of the monastery. A wonderful combination of modern, tasteful and comfortable room blanking, the historic building and the lovingly landscaped gardens. Very, very good (ayurvedic and classic) cuisine. The authentic Indian-ayurvedic spa offer and the associated wellness area also make the hotel a very special place.

Very nice quiet accommodation with the charm of an old wall.
The hotel is very quiet. Nice old house right next to the cathedral. Parking outside the front door, great. The premises are spacious. The rooms are nicely decorated, the mattress very comfortable for sleeping. The pillows are rather mawkish, there is simply a neck roll or a visco pillow missing. The bathroom top-modern, however, the lighting at the sink was poor. The floor creaks, you can hear every step, even from the next room. The breakfast buffet was very good and rich. We also tried the dinner buffet, we always found something we liked. The salad buffet was great with good dressings. We felt that the contributors could have been kinder. Dutiful, but the charm was partly missing. Otherwise but a very nice accommodation.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We had a wonderful stay at JUFA Hotel Stift Gurk. The location is absolutely beautiful, peaceful, and incredibly relaxing. What makes this hotel truly special is that it is situated within the grounds of a centuries-old monastery, giving it a unique atmosphere that you simply cannot experience in an ordinary hotel.
The building and its surroundings are fascinating, full of history and charm, making the stay a memorable experience in itself.
The staff were exceptionally kind, friendly, and helpful. Our daughter accidentally left her favorite stuffed bunny behind after we checked out. The team found it, carefully packed it, and sent it all the way to Hungary. It arrived safely, and our daughter was overjoyed to have her bunny back. We are truly grateful for their kindness and outstanding customer service.
If you are looking for a peaceful place with a unique historical atmosphere and genuinely caring people, I can highly recommend this hotel. We would be delighted to stay here again.
Thank you to the entire team for making our visit so memorable!
