My home away from home
I always stay at Waves during my business trips north. Jodie at reception is always so accommodating. If you are looking for safe and secure accommodation this is the spot!

Regrettable stay
Upon arrival, got keys from lock box, there were two envelopes with absolutely no information - just a room number…so we picked room 20. Big mistake. The accommodation appeared to have not been cleaned at all - the floors were filthy and covered in dirt, food remnants and ear plugs. The fridge had dried up vegetables or salad in the bottom crisper. The kitchen bench had food scraps and crumbs all over the bench and cook top, sink had dirty dishes/ utensils. There were items which appeared to belong to the previous occupant just left on the table. Then the bathroom……all over the vanity bench and in the basin were the remnants of someone’s beard clippings everywhere. The ledge in the shower was revolting…..Regretting booking here, will never rebook.

For clarity, guests are allocated a specific room prior to arrival and receive communication via text message confirming their assigned room number. Rooms are not self-selected on arrival. If a room is entered without confirmation, it may not have been serviced or prepared for that guest. This can occur if a long-term stay or extended booking is in place.
Room 20, in particular, had a confirmed three-week booking during November, which is why your comments are surprising to us. Without a booking name or record, we are unable to properly investigate what may have occurred.
We take cleanliness extremely seriously, and had we been made aware during your stay, we would have acted immediately to rectify any issue.
We kindly ask that you email our manager directly at info@wavesgeraldton.com.au
with your booking name and dates so we can investigate thoroughly. We are committed to understanding what happened and ensuring it does not occur again.
We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and look forward to the opportunity to clarify and resolve the matter.

Small and neat in a good location
PROS
The location suited us very well.
The apartment was very neat and tidy. The beds were comfy and there was a smart TV in the living area (just a little dated/basic in the bathroom and kitchen, but we didn't mind that)
There is a nice outdoor BBQ area to sit and enjoy the afternoon (lots of gardening and outdoor updates happening when we were there - not noisy, just nice to see it being cared for)
Security cameras and night lights made it feel secure
CONS
The car bays are not very well marked up, so was a little confusing.
Towel/coat hooks on the backs of the bedrooms and bathroom doors would have been helpful (cupboard space was good in both bedrooms but there was only a double towel rail in the bathroom. This is okay if only 2 guests, but we had 3 so I had to hang my towel over the door handle). Not a big issue, but these would be a great addition
