Fine Stay with Excellent Breakfast

The woman at the hotel quickly and cheerfully addressed a room issue which I had and I am grateful for that. The breakfast was excellent in a comfortable atmosphere. Housekeeping arrived mid to late afternoon which is a bit late for me (I sometimes like a nap). Biggest issue was poor and unreliable Wi-Fi.

Pretty location, friendly service.

The ambiance is definitely nice. The location is great between Donau and in the old town.
The service couldn’t be more friendly.
Restaurant:
Sitting on the outdoor terrace with view of the River is romantic.
Bring patience and time. It takes an hour or more to get the food. Food is plentiful but a bit dry, the bread was old, the fries crispy. The salads look amazing.
Prices are reasonable.
Hotel: the rooms are simple, clean and bright, the beds super comfy.
The view of the Donau was pretty but at night a drunken crowd yelled and carried on with revving cars, loud stereos for an hour late at night.
Maintenance could use a little help. The bathroom door would not close.
Check out already 10:30 firm.
Take a room facing toward the old town.
Don’t arrive from the back entrance unless you want to lug your suitcase up a steep set if stairs.

Wild time getting the luggage inito the room

This hotel was a challenge to get to, park and to get to our room. The front of the hotel was in a small busy street with no parking to unload luggage. We had to go to the back of the hotel which is on a major street to unload our luggage. From this door you must climb about 15 stairs to get to the elevator which takes you to the floor where your room is located. You then had to go down a small hallway off to the side to get to your room. This room was very small with no safe. To get to the reception area, you had to go through the restaurant to get to your room and vice versa. The parking was a challenge. There is a parking lot a block away, but you will have to feed the meter, so you don’t get a parking ticket. We used a private parking garage a few blocks away which for about the same price as the meters, you get to park your car and not worry about feeding the meters. This hotel is close to the Danube river where the river cruise boats dock, the lovely cathedral which has noon-time concerts, restaurants and shopping.

Excellent location for River Cruisers, Convenient to center of town

The hotel is easy to reach and located next to the Danube. Great for those staying before or after a river cruise. Breakfast is heart and fulling and has a good variety. Staff is friendly and helpful. Parking is available at no charge after 19:00 until 9:00 the next morning.

Great location and with good restaurant.

Very sentral location at the river and still just in center. I got a single room late evening. The room was ok, but had a strange smell,,,I could not find out from where,,, I try to have the window open, but it did not help much,,, The internet works fine and the restaurant gives you good food with great view. Even with many visitors the service was quickly and friendly. Ok breakfast and easy parking near the hotel.
