Good service in cozy accommodation
I was booked here on a business trip.
I was awarded one of the five huts.
Really very cozy and quiet.
The fact that you stand, after the door, in the bathroom is unusual but not disturbing.
The shower is very spacious, with decent pressure and stable hot water connection (small tip to the operator: Termostatatura help save water.
Also the breakfast buffet is very rich and delicious.
The staff was unobtrusive but helpful and friendly when needed.
Should I ever move back to the area, whether for business or pleasure, the hotel will be shortlisted

Dishonest booking
They tried to cheat us. We booked a standard room in February. When we showed up in June our booked room was no longer available but they could downgrade us to a small wooden barrel. Wrong. Then they charged us for the better and more expensive room. Dishonest.

As almost everywhere - there is still room for improvement
We had booked a Woodlodge as a room.
The hotel's statements here are not all as we found them.
As for the bed, in our opinion, there were just normal sheets.
In addition, there is a slatted frame here. But it's very rigid and doesn't really offer any sleep comfort.
The washbasin consists of a washbasin with a base cabinet in the bathroom.
Ventilation during the night is difficult. We finally have the only tiltable
Bathroom window fully open and leave the bathroom door open. The ventilation installed on the room side ( grid about 15x15 cm ) is otherwise not sufficient.
Because; unfortunately, the front door is not tiltable.
In addition, we also found a sink.
We couldn't do anything with that with the best of will.
If there was a refrigerator and some kind of additional wardrobe available here, the space would be better used.
Air conditioning: Only one column fan is available here.
The installed radiators are permanently preset by the hotel.
The guest can probably only ask in the hotel to adjust his wishes.
One solution here would probably be a split air conditioning system. All lodges could be supplied with just one outdoor unit.
With a simple remote control, every guest could quickly and easily
Select desired temperature in the living area. (Both heating and cooling)
And since modern plants are equipped with a heat pump, the consumption figures would be moderate.
Breakfast was just good. Nothing to complain about.
Restaurant: Good average.
A meal was criticized by us and communicated to the chef.
Reaction according to service personnel, he took note. SHAME
Beer garden: It is very cozy and worth seeing.
Includes fish pond with water features and beach chairs.
However, there is a shortage of skilled workers here. Sometimes it took a long time to get noticed and even the reorders were only possible after Waiting time.
(Perhaps you should put small flagpoles on the tables.
So the guest can make himself felt by raising the flag.)
During the payment process, the internal network then very often failed, so that the staff disappeared from the beer garden until the connection was restored.
Behaviour: The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Except for the chef, there was nothing to complain about here.

Noisy and not particularly breakfast!!
First impressions are very nice. But the rooms are very noisy, sleeping with the window open is hardly possible. In our stay period, on Friday and Saturday until 2 a.m., a buzz of bass at a party in the neighborhood was very disturbing. Breakfast was not intoxicating for this category hotel.

Expectations not met
The positive first:
The staff is very friendly and helpful, the place well maintained and clean.
Good beds and nice and powerful shower in the shower. Very good crispy breakfast rolls, as you don't often get even in luxury hotels.
Nevertheless, unfortunately, there were a few shortcomings that we would not have expected due to the beautiful exterior appearance.
Our room was spacious with a large comfortable sofa. There was even a small kitchenette with 2 hotplates. Only 2 coffee spoons, no more cutlery. In the closet, just a coffee cup. I'm sure we would have gotten more if we had asked.
A reading lamp by the bed did not work, as did the only room lamp, a floor lamp, which remained dark. The blackout curtains are so unfavourably placed that they allowed plenty of light into the room from above and to the side. We had a room just off the main road, too noisy to leave the window open at night. In the morning the windows were completely fogged up.
The bathroom is very basic, equipped with the necessities. No make-up mirror. Not a regular outlet, just one for shavers. Luckily, the cable of my travel hair dryer is long enough to reach from the socket in the sleeping area to the mirror in the small hallway. I can't use those unspeakable hotel hairdryers where you have to keep the switch pressed permanently. I regularly get cramps in my hands.
In the bathroom there is not enough storage space. Just a little ledge over the sink. The toilet bag had to be on the floor.
The shower cubicle did not close tightly - flooding in the bathroom.
Several times the outer door handle of the bathroom door fell off.
The breakfast buffet is okay but not very rich. especially the cold cuts plate was very sparsely stocked with 2 simple varieties.
On departure we drew attention to the shortcomings in the room, the receptionist had to look longer for a note, with the remark: "I have already written so much down today".
Conclusion: even if we had nice days in and near Schleswig, we would look for another hotel next time.
