A dream

Atmospheric hotel in a great location in the middle of the forest. Quiet (due to the idyllic trees or optimal sound insulation?). Great team. Absolutely clean. Lots of parking spaces. Hopefully there will be another reason to come to Hanover soon and then we will be very, very happy to come here again.

Beautiful location in itself - but no recommendation.

Let's start with the positives: the rooms are clean and tidy. Unfortunately, that’s about it.
- The room is quite small, really only suitable for sleeping.
- The view of the backyard is not uplifting.
- There are spots in the bathroom that one would prefer not to see.
- Since the owners keep all doors between the restaurant and sleeping area open and propped, it is loud and the smell of food wafts everywhere (self-help is possible ;-) ).
- Beds are not made.
- Parking is tight (there was a private event on two days, which explains it but does not help).
- Breakfast, well: the cheese selection looks unappetizing on a plate, the jam is red, yellow, and dark (without labels and clear flavors), orange juice is chronically empty, croissants and rolls are not really fresh.
- Gastro after 9 PM, no chance, so I went to bed hungry (because nearby on foot there is... right: nothing).
- And thus too expensive!!! In the city at "renowned chains," even high-quality ones, up to 30% cheaper (with sometimes significantly larger rooms and dining options well beyond 9 PM).
We were there exactly twice - for the first and last time.

Great for a stopover nice in the Eilenriede

We stayed for a family celebration at this hotel including restaurant . The location is nice, parking unfortunately not enough, the rooms are fine, clean and sufficient for 1-2 nights. The conservatory was ideal in the summer temperatures, the food very good. In the hall it was very warm and with a large number of staff it was very loud. You should do something about the acoustics. All in all a very nice location

Dirty, old and no chance of sleeping

Impossible hotel. No parking space when we arrived. It was a wedding reception. The guests at the wedding reception behaved as if they had rented the hotel for themselves.
So sleeping at night was out of the question. 1. the loud music, 2. the shouting and running around in the hallways. That went on until 4:30 a.m. the next morning. The hotel is also next to the main road with tram traffic.
The staff are very unfriendly and incompetent. Some of the staff don't speak proper German.
The rooms are very dirty and old.
So not recommended at all. Never again!!!

Good value, relaxing woodland setting.

Really enjoyed the woodland setting, the Biergarten under the trees, friendly staff, clean and comfortable room. Also were bikes available that I used for taking the forest path back into the city. Slept well for the 3 nights of a very relaxing stay.
