hell exists and its called that place

horrible abusive incomppotent staff.
they lie in responses.
keep proof for abuse for legal reasons if ur there is my advice.
they delete google reviews - hoenst bad ones that they deserve.

Excellent location, friendly staff. The rooms were stuffy with no air conditioning. Hard to sleep with noise from the windows open at night. Overall, you can’t beat the location and the easy access to public transportation..

My stay at Generator Berlin was a fantastic experience from start to finish, especially the bar staff leo. The atmosphere is vibrant, modern, and welcoming, making it easy to meet fellow travelers from around the world. Whether you're visiting Berlin for sightseeing, nightlife, or a weekend getaway, this hostel offers the perfect balance of comfort, convenience, and affordability.
The staff were exceptionally friendly, professional, and always willing to help with recommendations for local attractions, restaurants, and transportation. Check-in was quick and smooth, and the common areas were stylish, clean, and full of energy. My room was spotless, comfortable, and well-maintained, with secure storage and everything I needed for a relaxing stay.
One of the highlights was the lively social atmosphere. The bar and shared spaces created plenty of opportunities to connect with other guests while still offering quiet areas to unwind. The location was also excellent, with easy access to public transport, making it simple to explore Berlin's famous landmarks and neighborhoods.
Overall, Generator Berlin exceeded my expectations in every way. It combines great value with excellent service, clean facilities, and a fun international vibe. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to solo travelers, groups of friends, and anyone looking for an enjoyable and memorable stay in Berlin. It truly made my trip even more special.

Horrible !!!

We were disappointed! 350€ for a 6 person room that resembled a prison cell. It was dirty, tight and noisy

GROUP POLICY: Any reservation of 10 people or more per night will be considered a group with different terms and conditions. Groups reservations can only be made through our reservations team, and Generator reserves the right to cancel it otherwise. PAYMENT: All guests will require proof-of-age ID upon check-in. The full cost of the booking must be paid at least one month prior to arrival. Late payment will result in the rooms being resold. AGE RESTRICIONS: In Germany unaccompanied 16 to 18 only are permitted to stay in private rooms. To do so, they must present Generator's parental/guardian consent form and a copy of valid photo identification from the parent/guardian. Unaccompanied under 18's are not allowed to stay in shared rooms, unless they are part of a group that has booked out the entire shared room. The group leader must provide the required documentation to Generator. Failure to comply with these policies will result in automatic cancellation of the booking with no refund. Guests violating these rules will not be permitted to check into the Hostel. Minors accompanied by a legal guardian/parent can book a private room. The legal guardian/parent must stay in the same room. If relationship status is not clear, a completed parental consent form must be presented. If minors are part of a school group that has booked an entire dormitory, they can stay in a dorm. PET POLICY: We would welcome a dog on property but only when staying in a private room, and subject to a fee per dog per Stay. Only Dog under 75lbs./ 34kg.
