Ein Hotel mit ein Herz für die Gäste....
For me, because of corona and personal reasons, it was 5 years ago that I was still a guest of the Imhof family in Gemünden Langenprozelten.
Previously I had been a guest several times and super satisfied with my stay in this beautiful hotel.
All the greater was my joy to be able to greet this lovely family again this year.
The reason why I visit Gemünden Langenprozelten every year is our annual keyboard encounter for which the hotel is fully rented for 4 days.
What struck me immediately was that things had changed over the last few years.
There is now a fresh, young wind blowing through the hotel and this wind is called Dennis: a sweet, friendly young man, always with a smile on his face, for which nothing is too much and who does everything he can to make his guests as comfortable as possible. In this he is assisted by his wife and his parents: Andrea and Eberhard. These last 2 I have always experienced over the years as very sweet, helpful people, people with the heart in the right place. "The apple does not fall far from the tree"....is said in Belgium and this statement certainly applies here.
The hotel has also been beautifully renovated and given a modern, warm, luxurious feel. Everything your heart desires, is present in the room, the rooms are large, very clean....highly recommended!
And you can sleep in in the morning.
The room service is so quiet, you hardly notice she's there.
The kitchen also pleasantly surprised me again. You can choose from a wide range of tasty dishes that are lovingly prepared by the kitchen staff. Just seeing all that goodness makes you water in the mouth. And if you still have special wishes, they will be responded to without any problems.
The service in the restaurant also went very smoothly, despite the fact that there were a lot of people in the restaurant. But no one had to wait long for his or her order.
Incredible actually and this deserves a big compliment to the kitchen staff.
With the Imhofs, it feels like coming home to me.
You are so warmly welcomed, so pampered, both by the owners and by the sympathetic staff.
You notice that they are one big family and I am happy, as a guest, to belong to them once a year for 4 days.
And for the rest of the year I will keep beautiful memories of my stay and of all of you in my heart.
Thank you Dennis, Andrea and Eberhard and I'd love to come back to you next year.

Absolute recommendation
A friendly family hotel with great rooms. The fresh breeze from Dennis Imhof is just the right spirit!
Once a year we look forward to MUSICANDOS and unbelievably to a great musical weekend. You can feel that we are welcome! Thank you Imhof family

Friendly and service oriented
Here the cyclist feels very comfortable: the check-in was friendly and quick, the booked double room ( as a double room ) in the attic is modern furnished and in a friendly-bright outfit. The small bathroom is very clean and bright.
As with other reviews, I was also very positively surprised by the bike service: a very spacious, clean, bright and well-equipped garage was as well as a small workshop station.
Overall, an Owner-managed house where you can feel: here the service orientation from the boss to the restaurant crew is right.

Good hotel for bike tours
It is a nice hotel for bike holidaymakers. There is a large lockable bicycle garage with plenty of outlets for e-bikes and a service station for bicycles with all the necessary tools.
The rooms are very appealingly furnished, unfortunately the shower was a bit small and due to a too large fitting not so suitable for larger or corpulent people.
We booked especially a superior room with 25sqm as we like to have a little more space available. Unfortunately, we found that the room was only 3.73x6.00m incl. Bathroom had, if you still subtract the walls from the bathroom, it was just 21sqm and thus 1sqm more than indicated for the normal double rooms.
In the bathroom an unpleasant canal smell was perceptible throughout the stay, which we had also reported several times, but apart from a bit of room spray nothing happened.
You were greeted very friendly at the hotel and the entire staff was extremely friendly.
