Férias em Minca

Um ótimo lugar para ir se você não pode tomar o calor da costa caribenha mais. Não muito longe de Santa Marta, Minca oferece grandes possibilidades para a observação de aves e degustação de café também. É muito tranquilo e relaxante. Pode ser alcançado em um colectivo de Santa Marta.

After time at the beaches in Santa Marta and Parque Tayrona, we left up into the mountains and had a peaceful days. Minca is beautiful and you will get great views, great food, great walks, and relaxing days. A highlight was the chocolate tour and of course the large hammock :)

Minca conforma una excelente escapada de la ciudad de Santa Marta, ya que la misma es una ciudad muy calurosa y en Minca, a un par de horas de la ciudad, la temperatura baja varios grados y es especialmente agradable y fresco por la noche. Las playas dejan su lugar a los cerros, cascadas y los senderos, por lo que es una gran opción para cambiar drásticamente el paisaje sin irse muy lejos de Santa Marta.

Minca is a cloud forest paradise. Located in the Sierra Nevada mountain range, the luscious green forests are very welcomed after days in the Caribbean heat of Santa Marta and the surrounding beaches. Just a 40-minute ride from Santa Marta in Colombia, you'll arrive in Minca with a range of yoga classes, vegetarian (and non-veg) restaurant options and plenty of mountain lodges to stay in. It is becoming an eco-tourist, hippie paradise with lots of local coffee fincas to visit, sustainable hostels opening up and a few eco farms along the way. If you are intrepid enough, I recommend walking or taking a moto taxi up the mountains for accommodation. If you opt for the long walk up the mountain, you'll be stopping by waterfalls and small farms which make for a great day trip.
