Comfortable staying away from busy Alona beach

First of all the ownership has been changed to the Philippino management and during our staying they were in transition period. Resort is just next to the road behind the large fence with security. It’s located close to White Sand and Dumluan beaches (30 min. walking or 7 min by scooter). The bungalows are clean, comfortable and cosy (only missing the mosquito net). We found breakfast prices too high. Food and beverages provided by the restaurant are limited quality and too expensive, perhaps this will change when transition is completed. By the way, there are no cats on the resort!! :-) Swimming pool is huge and deep (1,60 m), so strong attention is needed when with small kids. Towels for swimming pool are provided, however sunbeds were not available. Internet connection is very poor for now. Unfortunately, no one from the resort picked us up from the port as agreed beforehand, even after calling the resort (eventually we took a taxi ourselves). All the inconveniences we mentioned above might be resolved in future when the new owner has a full control.

A safe, convenient and calm haven at Panglao

Behind its bamboo palisades Dream Native Resort is a place where you can enjoy the beautiful pool area and have great Italian food for lunch and dinner.
As there is only ten bungalows it is never crowded and it was always very calm during our 7 night stay.
Either you stay within the premises and relax or you could go to any nearby beach or to places like the Bohol Bee Farm. The hotel provide free shuttle service for places nearby.
The hospitality is great and all staff is very service minded.
Enrico in particular made or stay very pleasant.

Taste of heaven on earth

After a couple of relaxing days we extended our stay. The massive pool, grounds and rooms are meticulously maintained. There is an onsite Italian restaurant with an eclectic menu to please anyone. If you want to visit Dumarluan or Alona its 150PHP in a fun Tuk Tuk. The staff here must be flown in from heaven each morning. We were unfortunate enough to be stuck with noisy neighbours and I write this in the hope that they read this review. Your men shout constantly, choking and spitting phlegm. Your sweet children should not be left screaming in a pool alone; how will anyone know when the screams are an emergency? Finally if beat your children, you will end up in a filthy foreign. You disgust me.

Small paradise in a hugh paradise called Bohol

We arrived two families with small kids to this hotel to start our trip in the Phillipines.
The hotel was all we needed and more. Great stuff, beautiful pool, wifi and tv in the room.
Its few minuts drive from White beach and the Alona beach but its quieter like that. There is a italian restutrant which is o.k. and good for who dosent want to go out for dinner.

Great deal

Great location, close to Alona Beach but not in the crowd.
The place is beautiful, bungalows, pool, garden. The staff is really nice and dedicated, food was great!
It would have been even greater if the hotel could offer more suggestions about what to do around.
